3.5/5 Gave this a go after finishing the 3rd light novel in the series. This volume covers Vandal’s 1st life on Earth and his 2nd life on Origin. Then his first few months with his mother. The art is well done but not fantastic but good enough. I’m sure this will get an anime eventually but the manga is good enough to read along with the light novel in the meantime.

I wasn’t expecting this book to be incredibly sad. Yeah it picks up towards the end but wow don’t read it if you are depressed or going through it.
