"Remember, Tracy Boy, you're black and she's white! She's free, you're a slave! Next time I see you touch her I'll make you bleed!"

As children, Tracy and Hannah had often played alone and naked in the river. But now they were young adults and Hannah's fiancé Ethan had caught them at their special game. Only a miracle had saved Tracy's manhood from Ethan's knife. And only another miracle could save this rebellious young black from a life of certain hell.

This passionate and dramatic tale of a handsome young slave and his white mistress brings into shocking focus all the savagery and terror of the Old South.

Read this book when I was a teenager (a long time ago lol) and it has stuck with me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and must get a copy for a second read.
