A past trauma that doomed Brenna’s family. A prophecy that united her to the worst of creatures in all the best ways. Worlds, hearts, friendships – everything is at stake, and everything can be broken. As the war rages on there is only one way it can be won. Brenna had the answer from the beginning; it is etched into a wooden bucket from a holy well.

Sacrifice required.

A fulfilling conclusion to the trilogy.
An easy read, good for young teens. (Not very challenging for older readers; reads very juvenile).

-> Christian [Fae] fiction (it was still all right, despite the religious innuendos and not-so-subtle hints).
-> You don't have to be Christian in order to read this; however, I'm not, and I think it would be preferable if you were.
-> Finally, they're out of the Underground ("hell").
-> Not a bad book, but it doesn't come close to my previous read.
-> I found that Rhianna made for the most intriguing character. (I'm not defending her prejudice and mistakes).

Beyond action packed finale to an amazing series! Brenna is back from her journey through hell and has brought help for the battle between the angels and the Fae. Brenna is thankfully reunited with not only Killian, but also some unexpected guests. The thing that really shines in this book is the character development. Terra Harmony crafts characters and creatures you can’t help but love and root for. Will the unlikely army defeat the angels and save Earth? “Ash” brings together aspects from book 1 and book 2 and crafts a story that will have your heart pounding as well as breaking. Couldn’t put this book down!
