Volume 9 is pure chaos disguised as a school story. There’s sports drama, ridiculous misunderstandings, and Nakatsu continuing his personal journey of “accidentally starring in his own romantic comedy without realizing it.” Mizuki is somehow still fooling everyone, which at this point feels like a supernatural talent. Four stars for slapstick timing and the kind of love-triangle energy that could power a small city.

Love. The three RAs banding together to save the school was so epic. But I'm a little disappointed by Kitahama's dramatic turnaround. He just felt so evil somehow, that I would've liked him to kinda...stay evil, I guess.

I'm liking Akiha's plotline, though. I'm looking forward to the continuation of it.

Kitahama-sensei benar-benar menekan Nakatsu.

Adiknya terlalu dimanjakan sehingga suka berbuat seenaknya. Sano lalu berseru di depan Kitahama-sensei: "Kami bukan adikmu!"

Kata-kata Sano menyadarkan Kitahama-sensei.

I’m generally not a fan of narratives where teachers are the villain. They come off as being unfairly villainizing and unrealistic. However, I did appreciate that Kitahama was given depth and wasn’t made out to be unfair without reason. And it was nice to see the characters banding together for a common good.
I also really like the plot line in the second half of the book! We get bi representation and meet some awesome characters.

Although we see growth in Nakatsu's character, this plotline with the teacher is probably my least favorite. I also am not a fan of the photographer. At this rate, Mizuki isn't even trying to protect herself, and it's a little frustrating and dumb. However, our beloved RA's shined really bright this volume particularly dorm 2. hehe~ 3/5

I’m glad that the R.A’s speak up for themselves.

More of the struggles and dramas of highschool. There is a struggle against a teacher and everyone is trying to figure things out but there is extra pressure on one of the gang.

This review may contain spoilers of previous volumes in the series

Mr. Kitahama continues plaguing the Osaka students with ridiculous rules, but Nakatsu is getting the worst of it when Kitahama tells him he can’t compete in the soccer championship if he doesn’t admit he was cheating. Mizuki tries to help him, but Nakatsu is playing it tough. Sano is the one who learns what’s going on with Kitahama and why he’s trying to make Nakatsu an example. Mizuki and the gang find themselves ushered into a photo shoot by Hara. Not sure where that part of the story is going. Sano is worried that Hara will discover Mizuki is a girl, so maybe it will be something like that.

This volume was okay. I enjoy volumes that involve more between Mizuki and Sano. I like romance in manga, so I always miss it when there’s no real development between them. I’ve also been hoping that Nakatsu will find someone lately, someone he really likes.

I’m ready for the next volume to see what’s up with Hara and the whole modeling thing. I’m also hoping for more between Sano and Mizuki.

Oh my god!!!1! I loooove this seriesss!! It's my favorite shoujo series and my second favorite manga series of ALL TIME! I just love everything about it!! I would totally do what Mizuki did.. though I don't think I could get away with it.... especially not in a Japanese school... -_- WELL! That's just not fair. Anyway, It's sooooo funny! AH! It's all so great! I can't contain the fan-girl in me! :O I even loved the TV series! (Especially the Taiwanese one! Ella and Jiro were hilarious!)

I binge read all of Hana Kimi. It's easy to see why that is so easy once you get into the second chapter of the series. Hana Kimi is filled with complex character moments, tension, and fun. All the characters come to life and its hard to put the story down. I've read my fair share of manga over the years and will continue to. I have the feeling that Hana Kimi will remain one of my favorites. I can't wait to get in a reread.

it has one of my least favorite arcs, but, i still love this series. let's face it, i don't think that i would believe natasku in that situation either if i were the teacher. but yeah, still great fun and yumminess.

The "mean teacher" story finished quite tidily (which stained my credulity - but, then again, the whole premise does) but we get to see NaktsuKs character and understand why he's the leader of the soccer team. I note the we almost never seen Sano jumping anymore . . .

Darn, the final volume that I own ;_; Why oh why must I live in a town that doesn't stock much anime or manga? How long it will be before I find another series I like as much as this one, that I can actually find copies of? Anyway, great book, highly recommend this one and the whole series!

The way that the story about Nakatsu and the teacher suddenly becomes the focus is odd, after all of the setup about Sano's family. I do like it as a story, but it feels like she was filling time in while waiting for something, perhaps.

The stories were not bad but they felt like overdoing ones to fill a volume. Sano was far more involved in relationships than before, which was nice, and the photographer was stubborn and fun, which was another good point.

They are funny and all, but the guy who made them must've been a bit deranged or something..:D
