Rate this book
My three cocky stepbrothers love playing games…and I'm their new target. Parvati My mom’s remarrying a billionaire. Which means I’m getting three arrogant, spoiled stepbrothers. Desperate to distract myself from the wedding, I cut loose the night before. And who better to do it with than Damien? A smooth-talking charmer with irresistible dimples and blue eyes. Too bad that Damien isn’t just anyone, but one of my new stepbrothers! Worse, I’ve just spilled my guts to his identical twin, Dax. I should’ve noticed that despite his looks, Dax is nothing like his player twin Damien. Dax is the guy next door who knows how to do yard work and isn’t a spoiled jerk. As if my humiliation wasn’t bad enough their brother Daniel hears about my indiscretion. Who, by the way, is just as handsome as the other two. Quiet and brooding, Daniel’s a leader. A man who takes charge. Why did I have to end up with three hot-as-sin stepbrothers? And why can’t I control my inappropriate thoughts? I wish I could get out of the family’s Hawaiian honeymoon. But there’s no chance unless I tell my mom what I did - Which I would never. I vow to stay away from the brothers. But their shameless flirting makes it impossible. And my body is desperate for their touch. I know I shouldn’t cross the line with them but my desires override logic. Soon, I discover that my actions have consequences I could never imagine. And the little game they have going just makes it worse. Does my taboo relationship with my three stepbrothers stand a chance or am I doomed?

“This is the Peace you cannot buy”- Tems

Madam Casey this books keep slaying me !! Top the taboo, with a splash of back-blow-a-thon, sprinkle in some passion, and a hint of drama and you have this lovely little number right here.

I wasn’t sure where this story was going to take me but I was willing to go on a magic carpet ride and boy was I happy that I did. We cannot choose the people we fall in love with, even if it’s 3 men at the same time.

Parvati had a heart that needed love and compassion and these guys helped her through her storm. Love works in mysterious ways and sometimes a little family ties it all together.

If you haven’t read book one in this series you maybe a bit startled by the guest appearance but if not you will be happy to know this can be read as a stand-alone but it definitely provides insight to see this brand of love out loud.

This was well written and it made me laugh on cue. I hope that this series keeps going with this momentum and maybe we have a bit more drama in the next one.

Happy reading everyone 😘🥰

I immediately fell in love with each and every one of the guys and Parvati again. It is almost laughable how they meet and I can understand the angst that she goes through about what happened. I loved how everything wrapped up and how Parvati got her HEA. I cannot wait to see if there will be more set in this world with some of the side characters shown in this book.

Parvati isn't too happy about her mother remarrying a billionaire after her father's death a few years ago. She wants her mother to be happy but her new fiance is very different than her father. Not only is she getting a new stepfather but she is also getting three arrogant, spoiled stepbrothers. What she doesn't know is her new stepbrothers are very hot. After checking out the wedding venue with her mother, she runs into Damian who is doing the same thing for her mother's fiance. Damian offers to take her out for a drink and things get hot and heated. The next day, she runs into "Damian" at the wedding and he seems not to recognize her. That is when she meets Dax his twin brother who she is also instantly attracted to. At the wedding reception she learns that Damian and Dax are two of her new stepbrothers. For her mother's honeymoon, her husband paid for the whole family to go on a vacation in Hawaii. Parvati finds herself sharing a room with her oldest stepbrother Daniel. She is very attracted to him too. She knows she should keep her distance from her stepbrothers but she can't resist them.

Daniel, Damian and Dax are all attracted to Parvati. Being brothers, they are also very competitive. They have all decided that they want her to be theirs and will go all out to win her. They don't understand why she keeps pushing them away. They know that being stepsiblings doesn't have to keep them apart but they have to convince Parvati of that fact.

Story: Parvati (h) and Damien (H) get too know one another in pub, going as far as third base. She attends her widowed mother’s wedding to a billionaire and mistakes Dax (H) for Damien, his twin brother. Parvati formally meets Daniel (H), Damien, and Dax – hew new stepbrothers and they’re all accompanying their parents on a family get-to-know-one-another family honeymoon. Parvati and her stepbrothers fully get to know one another. High heat RH with an HEA. Fun in paradise in the Love by Numbers 2 series as the books start counting up.

Audio: The narrators did a really great job with this story. The audiobook uses a male narrator and a female narrator – I always appreciate when an author goes for the additional costs of having two narrators. Sean Masters does a great job with the tone he brings to the male voices, and Heather Firth gave Parvati a voice that seemed to embody her, as well as other female voices. The audio quality is good and there were no issues.

Parvati's mother is getting remarried. Parvati is against it because her father hasn't been dead that long, but she is happy that her mother has been able to find love again.
This marriage gives Parvati 3 new step-brothers, who she meets before and at the wedding, but doesn't realise who they are until another attendee at the wedding tells her. Unfortunately, at this point she has already done some inappropriate things with Damien and has admitted to herself that she is attracted to Dax and Daniel too.
They end up on a family honeymoon so that they can get to know each other better, will Parvati be able to resist her attraction to the 3 brothers, what would happen if she ended up with 3 of them.

I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it.

I loved this story about Parvati, Damien, Dax and Daniel. I really enjoyed the banter between these characters and the flirting and vying for the attention of Parvati and the guys. The intimate moments as each guy tries to win her over and finally the struggles that Parvati goes through before she finally accepts her men into her life right at that pivotal moment in her life when she needed to know that she could have the happiness they all wanted. A great story.

Three Stepbrothers’ Prize

I really enjoyed this short little book. It was cute and the story was intriguing. It is kind of an insta lust/love situation where Parvati is at a wedding for her mother. Her mother is marrying a billionaire with 3 sons. The sons are all rich and successful. They all have a connection that is hard to ignore. I enjoyed this book but I wish it had more spice.

When Parvati, Damien, Dax and Daniel parents get married they instantly become a family. Unfortunately they are extremely good looking and flirty. This is a wonderfully written reverse harem with the whole step brother kink. The plot was well devised while the story line and characters kept me completely mesmerised. Loved how the 4 achieved their HEA!.

A lovely story about Parvati and her new step-brothers, Damien, Dax and Daniel and the taboo adventures they get up to in Hawaii while joining their parents family honeymoon. This was a fun and flirty tale, with a little angst, some lovely steam, and a HEA.

Whew! This one is a high heat scorcher as only Nicole Casey can do with her famous, five star reverse harem books. The book starts out with Parvati checking out the venue where her mother was getting married the next day. As maid of honor she felt it was her duty to ensure that things were as they should be for her mother's big day. She leaves the venue, gets in her car and as she starts her car she hears a horn blowing as well as tires screeching. She looks out her car window and sees a man exiting his car. He's cursing at the truck that was ahead of him. She gets caught staring at him. He smiles at her and shrugs his shoulders. She can't seem to take her eyes off of him. He's gorgeous with perfect dimples. He approaches her car and she rolls down her window. He tells her he's sorry she had to see that and introduces himself as Damien; she tells him her name. He glances at the venue then asks her if she was there for the wedding. She answers in the affirmative and asks if he was there for it as well. He says yes and she asks if he's a friend of Danforth, the groom, because she doesn't recognize him. He hums his answer. She checks him out further and discovers that not only is he handsome but he has that arrogance that only comes from wealth, but it looks very attractive on him. He tells her that she must be a friend of Allison's. She tells him that she's her daughter. Then he tells her that he was supposed to help Danforth double check things at the venue but he's feeling more like having a drink; that he knows of a nice little pub nearby and would she like to join him. She thinks about for a while, afterall she just met him. She takes a chance and agrees to go with him. He takes her to a quaint pub. After getting some drinks he seats them in a dark, secluded corner. She's lulled by the atmosphere, live jazz music and the charming. Before long, she's finding pleasure at the tips of his fingers. She thoroughly enjoys her time with him after all who wouldn't with a gorgeous charmer like him. The next day she's helping her mother get ready to walk down the aisle. She's a little somber about the whole marriage thing because her father just passed a couple of years ago and she can't believe her mother is moving on already. Her mom explains to her that when you find that special one of a kind love you grab onto and she was just lucky enough to find it twice in her life. Parvati leaves the room to go tell the wedding organizer that her mom is ready to walk down the aisle. In the hallway she sees a familiar person, Damien. She decides to go talk to him and casually taps him on the shoulder. He turns around and she strikes a seductive pose. He tells her, yes in a questioning way, and she laughs at him. He checks her out and asks if he knows her. She sputters and tells him, that she knows the pub was dark but she didn't expect him to forget about her totally. He puts two and two together, telling her that that was his identical twin Damien and he was Dax. She tells him that she's gotta go but hopes to see him later. As she's heading towards her destination she can't help the dirty thoughts from entering her mind. Especially since there were two of those handsome beefcakes. Later on at the reception, she makes friends with a cousin on the groom's side whom informs her that the guy she fooled around with at the pub was no other than her new stepbrother. She can't believe her luck plus she and her new stepbrothers were all going to be together for the next week as they all go on a family honeymoon to Hawaii. Also at the reception, an equally handsome older man introduced himself as the oldest son of Danforth, Daniel. She is just as enthralled with him as she is with the twins. The wild thoughts going through her mind make her wonder how she was going to make it during this family trip. Why, oh why does she have to get such gorgeous men for her new stepbrothers. Here is where I'll leave you becauseI don'twantto give too much away, but just know that the heat level skyrockets from here on out. Also note, that what happens in Hawaii stays in Hawaii, but does it really?! This book is another fantastic one by Nicole Casey and if you're familiar with her work, and even if you're not, just know that you won't be disappointed. It five stars all the way, on the heat level alone; but paired with an original storyline that grabs you and takes you on a fantastic journey. You really can't go wrong with this one. I definitely recommend it.

Why did you read this book?
Reverse harem books are my guilty pleasure, and I was in the mood to read a couple.

What format did you read this book in?
Read it as an eBook on Kindle.

Is this an educational book or a book for entertainment?
I read this book for pure entertainment purposes.

What genres do you think this book belongs to?
Chick Lit, Contemporary, Romance, Sports, Adult

What was your favorite part of the book?
When the female lead decides not to choose any of them when they pressure her to make a decision.

Who would you suggest this book to?
Anyone who likes taboo romance, reverse harems, and erotica.

What is your general opinion/ rating of this book?
Meh, this story was OK. This book kind of starts with one of those cliches where the female lead is attracted to a mysterious stranger only to find out that they are her new step-siblings. I guess my biggest problem with this story is how hard it was to tell the love interests apart. Especially, the twins. I'm glad that the female lead didn't choose any of the brothers when they pressured her. But the second half of the story, in my opinion, happened too quickly. She suddenly is pregnant and decides to finally get back together with the guys. Of course, she reveals her relationship to her parents, and eventually, things go well. This is a good, quick, and dirty reverse harem story. It's not a bad book, but there isn't anything exceptional about it, either.

How intense are the intimacy scenes?
The intimacy scenes are vividly detailed. MF, MMF, MMFM

At what “burn” level is the romance?
This story is a hot one.

Love interests, how many of them are there and what gender?
there are three love interests, all of them male, and the female lead’s stepbrothers.
Damien is one of the twins and is the charmer of the two.
Dax is one of the twins and he's known to be a player.
Daniel is the quiet and responsible one.

Any trigger warnings?
Sexual Content: Explicit Sex Scene, Masturbation, Oral Sex
Other: Slut Shaming, Profanity, Classism

Geez, what’s a girl to do when her mom remarries a billionaire with three gorgeous sons?

Parvati was the maid of honor for her mother’s wedding, so after verifying everything that was set for the ceremony at the venue, Parvati decides to have some fun the night before. She finds herself drawn to a flirty, handsome man named Damien that she doesn’t recognize. Parvati and Damien have fun together. The next day, she finds out who Damien really is, as well as his brothers Dax and Daniel. Parvati ends up playing lots of fun games with the brothers.

The hiring of the male and female narrators was a brilliant choice, as they were able to truly bring the story to life. They had pleasant voices and were enjoyable to listen to. The male narrator was able to capture the different personalities of the brothers with enough intonation to make a distinction as to who they were. The female narrator brought out the timidity, stress, and confusion shared by Parvati. She was also able to bring the elation of the joy Parvati discovered with the brothers. The audio quality was exceptional. The narrators’ voice quality and character distinction, pacing and rhythm, and emotional delivery were all on point.

Overall, I really enjoyed the story and think the excellent narration added to the experience for me.

Audiobook Review

I loved listening to this story so much. I love Nicole Casey's books, but I think I love who gets chosen to narrate and give these characters a real noise just as much. This story was so fun and utterly chaotic, to be honest. All things forbidden are always welcomed my way, and this book was certainly that.

The story is centered around Parvati whose mother has recently got married again, but before that she let's loose with a man she meets where the wedding will take place the day before, unknowing of who he truly is. What a shock it was for her to discover that this mystery man is Damien the twin to Dax who she mistakes as him at the wedding and the youngest two of three sons of the man her mother has just married. Awkward!

Everything gets even more complicated when Parvati joins her mother, new step-father, and his three sons, her new step-brothers, Dax, Damien, and Daniel on the family honeymoon What complicates it further is that all three men want her as much as she tries to hide her attraction to them they see right through.

The boys love a game, so all play to win her heart the fastest. Completely unknowing, she would win all of their's first. The narrators did an amazing job with these characters, and I loved how all of the guys had their own unique voices. Falling for her step-brothers simply was not easy to get over, but the book worked out in the best way possible.

Audiobook Review
Overall Story Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 /5)
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ (5/5 – NSFW AF)
Narration Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ½ (4.5/5)

Review:
I went into this fully expecting over-the-top forbidden romance drama and it delivered. It’s steamy, it’s taboo, it’s messy in that “why am I eating this whole bag of chips but not stopping” kind of way. Nicole Casey knows exactly what she’s serving here: guilty pleasure escapism. Without giving too much away, My Favourite moment is the Hawaiian beach scene where the tension finally snaps. It’s both hilarious (because of how awkward the lead-up is) and insanely hot once it happens.

Narration:
Narrated by Heather Firth and Sean Masters
Heather does a great job of bringing Parvati’s vulnerability, sass, and conflicted emotions to life. Sean handles the stepbrothers with enough distinction that you know who’s talking, though at times Damien and Dax’s tones could blur (which kind of works since they’re twins). Together, they balance the spicy, emotional, and playful sides of the story.

Would I recommend:
Yes, if you’re looking for a wild, taboo fantasy with unapologetic spice. No—if you need slow emotional build-up or can’t handle step-sibling taboo.

I'm usually a big fan of Nicole Casey's work, but this series feels like a step back. This book didn't seem nearly as polished as others I've read, and I found the characters hard to relate to.

I didn't feel much chemistry at all between Parvati and Dax and Damien. The only one that made any sense with her was Daniel, and even then I didn't feel like they had a deep connection. The characters all felt really shallow to me, like their personalities weren't fully developed. Parvati was extremely unlikable to me. She was so wishy washy and never fully committed to any decision she made. She was constantly contradicting herself and I just couldn't relate to her at all.

There were a few weird descriptions, like drawing a grin, that didn't make sense to me. There also seemed to be a lot of laughing during certain times that really took me out of the story. It seemed odd to me that someone was laughing or giggling that much during sex.

All in all, this series isn't quite what I thought it would be. I'm interested to see how the next book comes out.

I understand getting lost in the moment. I don't know why, in this day and age, our main characters have not even thought about any form of contraception, not condoms. I would have thought a morning-after pill would have at least occurred to Parvati after her night with Daniel. After all, they were at a luxury resort in Hawaii, not the boondocks.

While this could qualify as a reverse harem I wouldn't call it a menage. In the one instance in the story when the brothers "shared" her, they actually took turns so it was more like one-on-one times 3 with everyone in the same place.

There are also more than a handful of parts that need to be tweaked such as incorrect terms like "imaginative" instead of just "imagine" and homonyms.

This story is just ok but I've read better from Nicole Casey. It is mostly because I did not feel any connection to any of the brothers. Their characterization to me was very two-dimensional. Unlike in other stories, I could not imagine myself in this one. I was really just a spectator.

Against the Grain

3.5 stars - This was spicy and taboo, both of which I absolutely enjoy, but it didn't always keep my attention. Parvati's indecision and shame played a part in my occasional disinterest. As she just supported her best friend in a menage relationship and freely discussed the benefits and seizing the opportunity in that book (Two Sugar Daddies' Virgin), it seemed against character.

She fights the attraction due to the taboo nature of a) them being her very recent stepbrothers; and b) being attracted to all three. I can understand this, but once she's taken by one she... well, let's just say that things progress quickly with the other two.

Damien was gorgeous and charming, and he had a twin brother! It was like hitting the jackpot.
-- Parvati

I do like how Damien, Dax, and Daniel complement each other. I also love Danforth's reaction to everything.

There's a strong connection to the prior book in this series, but you can definitely read this as a standalone.

Daniel, Damien, Dax and Parvati..

A second book on the polyamorous relationship between 3 brothers and Parvati. I read nothing one day. My review of the first didn't copy over and the book didn't warrant me rewriting it, even I enjoyed it more than this one. After reading the first book, I was drawn to read the second one. That was a mistake.

There was no backstory on any of the characters. It was more about the sex which was as flat as the characters. Its such a shame because despite the nature of the book, it had a good premise. If the author would focus on plot development, this would have been better. I saw glimpses of the love that they had for each other. There was good moments of humor that had me chuckling.

I did enjoy reading two of the books in this series but won't be reading the others. Even if you like books on reverse harem, this book falls flat. That's disappointing because the book could have been so much better.

True love does not follow the rules all of the time.

Parvati is confused over her feelings for her new step brothers. Damien, Dax and Daniel are comprised of a set of identical twins and Daniel their older brother. A competitive nature has the twins betting on who is going to seduce Parvati and have her choose them. Each brother is very different in temperament. While Damien and Dex are plotting how to tempt Parvati and win the bet, Daniel is wanting her for himself. Refusing to choose just one of them, Parvati heads home with a broken heart. When she realizes that her fling with the brothers has left her with consequences, she knows the men need to know. During a rocky game in the owner's box, the truth comes out with mixed reactions. You will love how the story plays out.

Parvati is not really pleased her mom is getting remarried so soon after losing her dad but she is rolling with it and on the eve of the wedding she meets a man and has a hot tryst in a pub, knowing she will run into him at the wedding. While at the wedding she thinks she sees him but finds out it is his twin and, oh no, it turns out it is her new stepbrother. What makes this interesting is there are 3 brothers and they all accompany their parents on the honeymoon in Hawaii to get to know each other and these ultra rich still have to share rooms because of logistics and she is sharing a room with Daniel, the oldest. Well, one thing leads to another and with the twins wagering a bet and all, sexy times happen. Good thing they are only related by marriage and not by blood because what happens in Hawaii doesn't stay in Hawaii.

I enjoyed this audiobook. The spice was great, and it had a good plot. I did occasionally have trouble keeping the 3 MMCs straight (all of their names start with D). I do wish there had been more of the group together between the 'conflict resolution' - and the "1 year later" epilogue. Maybe another epilogue a few months after they all decided to be together?

This was performed in Duet narration - each narrator performs all dialogue in their chapter, including the opposite sex character(s). I don't always love this kind of narration, but it didn't bother me as much in this book!

One thing I really enjoy in Why-Choose is group scenes, and this book did not have any of that really. But since the MMCs are all brothers, I think it makes sense for the story.

I enjoyed the story. I did get confused between the brothers since they have similar names, so it may be better to read the actual book instead of listening to it. Mostly, if you are someone who has to rewind parts of the audiobook after zoning out (I do it with every book, so it doesn't have anything to do with this one). This is the first book I have read by this author, and i am interested in reading more. I think I want to read the hockey book of this series next.

However, when she is talking to the first stepbrother, I am not sure how they didn't know they were stepsiblings by talking about the wedding they were attending.

Nonetheless, I liked the story; however, it is more for 18+ readers, as some content may not be suitable for some readers. If you like taboo, why-choose romance, then you will want 3 Stepbrothers' Prize.

This was a great story by Nicole Casey. I couldn't put it down. I couldn't wait to see what happened next between Parvati, Daniel, Damien and Dax. I am really enjoying this new series and I can't wait for the next one to come out.

Parvati shows up to her mother's wedding and never met her soon to be stepbrothers. She is instantly attracted to them all but knows that it's wrong. She is drawn to them in different ways. They are in Hawaii with their newly married parents and the men aren't afraid of going after they want. She tries to deny her feelings but it isn't long before she is giving in. What will happen when the vacation ends?

Author Nicole Casey loves to tantalise her readers with multiple love interests and risque situations but always providing the characters with their HEA's. Wonderfully created characters that you will fall for yourself and what makes it perfect is that the three guys have their own strengths and weaknesses ( but weaknesses don't crop up too much) and more titillating is that the three guys are brothers. But interestingly these three fall for their step sister which does push the whole concept of societal norms in respect to new family relationships but I thought it was well addressed by Nicole's story explanations.

Parvati's mother is getting remarried and she is gaining 3 stepbrothers she hasn't met yet. Damien meets Parvati first and doesn't tell her who he is. They fool around before the wedding without Parvati finding out who he is. At the wedding she meets Damiens twin, Dax, and their older brother Daniel. All three of the brothers intrigue Parvati but because of their new familial relationship, she holds back but the brothers make that difficult. All four of the siblings join their parents on their honeymoon and the tension gets unbearable. Parvati eventually gives in to each of the brothers and admits her feelings. This is a quick, steamy read.

Parvati is helping her mother with some details of her wedding. She runs into Damien as she is leaving a meeting with the wedding planner. She has no clue that he is about to be her stepbrother. They go off to a bar and in a secluded booth things heat up. Its not until the actual wedding that she finds out who he is and meets Dax and Daniel her other stepbrothers. When they are in Hawaii as family things get complicated with Parvati and the brothers. Will something come from their time together? What will their parents think about that?

This is a steamy story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

In this book we meet Parvati, Daniel, Dax & Damien. After checking the venue for her mother's wedding the next day Parvati goes to leave. When she hears a noise she is just getting into her car but finds a gorgeous man standing by a car next to hers. What happens next starts a whole new adventure for Parvati. Damien can't seem to forget the woman he met the night before the wedding. When he learns she doesn't know him or any of his brothers he knows he has struck gold. Can these 4 find a HEA or will the new family dynamic make that impossible?

Another hit out of the park by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

parvati mother was getting remarried so with everything going off with the wedding parvati decided to have a night out where she meets Damien who knows her stepfather to be ,little known to parvati Damien more close to her stepdad then she realised and when the wedding comes about she gets to find out who he really is and more surprises come along the as its not just Damien who took a shiner to parvati its his brother's too ,can parvati handle all three and will she have to choose in the end and will this effect her mother and new husband relationship .this was a good read with drama and twist and surprises along the way.
