Very sweet, I enjoyed reading about his experience being in America for the 1st time. What it was like buying a hamburger for the first time, and buying a plane ticket. I also liked seeing the growth from a young boy who had no shoes at all, to possibly being able to launch his own shoe brand. I was on the edge of my seat during certain parts, and laughing during others. Manny is a really amazing guy, and I am very glad to have the opportunity to read this book!

Sat next to Manny Ohonme on a flight and he signed a book for me. Loved hearing his story from him in person, and got emotional reading about some of the details afterward. He shows a kindness to those around him that is quite rare to see in people.

This is a wonderful book! It is easy to read with real life stories we can all relate to . . . . I was blessed, moved and encouraged. It is an inspiring book that challenged me to say "yes" to help others.

After reading this book, I realized that what we do is not even close to what we can do. I trust that God will continue to open doors so I can serve him and in some way make a difference -- and that the impact we all make will be so strong that those watching will take noticed and realize have no choice but to get involved. It just takes one step and that first step is always the hardest. Please read this book ... "it will change your life!"
