Seemed like a good scratch on a surface I'm just starting to walk out on.

"The view that the [Scriptures] are revelatory is a statement of faith in the activity of God; it is not an assertion about how the texts were produced" (p. 60).

As a former seminarian and an award wining Sunday School teacher, I feel I can attest to the value of this little book as a starting point for any serious biblical reading or research. Well done.

I would have appreciated more and more diverse examples throughout the book, but otherwise a great overview!
