Kim has provided a detailed picture on the issue of conversion in India. Seen as a "social phenomenon, conversion has been a major topic of debate for many years and continues to be so. Kim doesn't necessarily provide solutions to this problem but while highlighting the socio-political problems for the reasons he says that "it is also due to different theological searches for the meaning of life and the way to achieve it--"
