Suzanne Butterfield wanted what her friend Tonya had; a man who knew how to control her life, worship her body and make her submit. Of course it helped that Tonya’s man was an Alpha of his werewolf pack, built like a tank, and tall as a mountain.
Dominic Hazelfield, a vampire king and dragon shifter, was a true master not only to his vampire kingdom, but in his BDSM club. By opening this club, Dominic believed he would finally find his true blood mate, that she would just walk into his den and submit her body and soul to him to care for.
Archer Morganthe- Clan leader of the Florida Everglades Vampires - was a loner; only his right hand man knew of his longing for Dominic. When he finally had him within reach, Archer found himself surrounded by Dominic's allies as well. He didn’t know how he was going to survive with so many around him, but somehow he would live to protect his mates.
Granger Iceshard—or as many called him, the Ice Man, listened to no one, claimed no clan. Always a ladies’ man, Granger was confused by his body’s overwhelming desire towards the men around him. The only problem was when he was confused, it made him dangerous.
Blair Wellworth was a Vampire warrior and wizard, and could shift into any animal. Only his family knew of his secret, but when danger threatened one of their Kings, Blair opened his closed heart for the love of his companions.
As danger loomed closer, the five came together, not only to protect each other, but also to prepare for what the Goddess of Vampires, Empusa, has warned them about - the war between good and evil.

Running In Fear Book 5 - Dragon's Den Trinity Blacio Publisher: Riverdale Avenue Books Date of Publishing: June 9, 2017

Dominic Hazelfield is the vampire king who was blessed by the goddess and told he would find his companions and mate. He was also warned of an upcoming battle in which they and other paranormal beings would become known the humanity at large. There is a great battle in which he and his companions and mate would play a part in. they were to depart within the week and meet up with Remi, Dane, Mark and their mate, Jaycee to prepare for. Having found two of his companions he is thrilled and excited when Suzanne Butterfield walks into his club and calls to his dragon and him. Their mate is here. Before they can complete their bonding, the street gang that kidnapped Suzanne and held her as a sex slave attack looking to take her back. Along with the assistance of an unexpected third companion they defend the first attack , but more is to come so they start out on their quest to meet up with the others, Danger and many surprises are encountered along the way that will test their bonds and endanger their lives.
This series continues to evolve adding new twist to the plot and new characters, but will hold you spellbound to the story waiting to see what the clever mind of the writer will throw at you next. I find myself so involved in the story that I loose passage of time. Dinner was late because I had time to spare before beginning preparation, Nest I knew over an hour had passed and I was reading the last page. Ms. Blacio brings dynamic characters and an ever changing plot together to keep you guessing, but keeps it always within the realm of believability that such things could happen. I for one am absolutely am looking forward to the next book in the series. Now if I can just keep myself from opening the story before I get the kitchen cleaned and get some sleep. Oh well what's and hour of so of sleep when compared to finding out what happens next. It reminds me of when I was a little girls and my mother would read me one of the classics one chapter at a time. I was always begging for one more and sometimes I got lucky and she gave in.
I gave "Dragon's Den" a 4.75 out of a total of 5 stars.
Dragon's Den is the fifth book in the exciting Running in Fear series by Trinity Blacio, and things are definitely heating up! With complex characters, incredibly sexy and erotic intimate scenes, humor, secrets and lies, betrayal, mystery, suspense, and intriguing twists, you'll be turning the pages faster to see what happens next. The story pulls you in right from the beginning, and you won't be able to put it down until the very end. This is my favorite book in the series, so far, but there's a lot more to come. This is a fantastic story, and a great addition to this exciting series!
There's so much going on in this book. There are many new characters, clans, as well as enemies, and it also includes several characters from the previous books too. Each of these stories end with a HFN type ending, and there's an ongoing storyline that connects them all. I would strongly suggest that you start from the beginning of the series and read each book in order to get the most of this complex story. This would be the only way to fully understand everything about each set of mates, the different packs and clans, all of the enemies involved, and the dynamics between them all, especially when they're all connected with one another in some way.
I have been completely hooked on this series from the start, and even though some of the males need to be smacked upside the head from time to time, or turned into toads (LOL!!), this has been a very sexy, and incredible series. If you like complex storylines, true alpha males, strong and independent women, and lots of suspense, this is the perfect series to read. Although there are numerous sexy and erotic sex scenes in each book, the BDSM aspect is kept to a minimum. (spankings, light bondage, etc) I can't wait to start the next book and see where the story leads!
I strongly recommend this book, series, and great author.
I have voluntarily reviewed this complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.

The fifth book in the series has very little mention of Jaycee and her men. Intoduced to Suzanne, Dominic, The Vampie King, Archer, Granger, and Blair. War is just over the horizon and the Goddess warns Doninic to hurry and reach Remi and his mates, to prepare. Danger surrounds them on all fronts. Determined to protect their mates and save all the inhabitants of Earth.
I was not drawn to this book as I was the other in the series IT was less about the story and more about the intimate scenes. I will still rush to read the next book because Trinity Blacio is a wonderful writer who truly is a wonderful story teller. Not to mention I cannot wait to see where she takes this series next. I gave Dragon's Den a 4.25 out of 5 stars rating.
This is book 5 in the Running in Fear series. OMG!!! This is my favorite book of them all! (At least so far) I thought the others were good but this one was great. Part of the story line is a continuation of a war that is coming. But the rest of the book is a story all on its own. We meet Dominic, the King of Vampires. He is at his club with his 2 male companions, Archer and Granger. We get to meet his female companion, Suzanne, as she walks in with her 2 friends. These 4 people are going to help Remi and his people lead the war against the evil on Earth. So all this happens in a short time but wow, there’s a lot happening because as time goes on, they meet up with another companion, Blair. We have hot, hot dragon sex going on here, people! We have more than that though. There’s Suzanne’s trauma growing up to get through along with all the bad things going on. But the dragon sex makes up for all the bad stuff happening. Yes, it’s really that good. I think you can tell that I really loved this book! Oh, yeah. There is male, male sexual contact so be warned if that’s not your speed. But the dragon sex is worth it. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley. Remember that dragons are hot!
This is the fifth book in the Running in Fear series. I really am enjoying the new characters the author has given us in the last two books and I love that she keeps us up to date with the old ones. The heroine finds herself in the middle of three alpha males’ and not just shifters but vampire shifters. Wow! I love this concept so much. The series just keeps getting bigger by the books; the story is just spinning in all directions. The heroine is so strong with, like the others, an abusive background. So be forewarned for those with triggers. It did take me a little bit longer to get into the characters of this book but after about the second chapter I was really into it. I did like these alpha males better than book two and three. They seem to listen to their mate better.
***I voluntarily reviewed this ARC for an honest review via NetGalley, this is my honest opinion and has not been influenced by the author, Publishers or NetGalley in anyway.*** Thank you!
4 Vampire/Dragons male companions/ mates have met their perfect human female mate/companion. I've read the first 4 so I'm continuing one the series. The only thing I didn't like was the parts that distance sound complete, a bit confusing but it was easy to get around. Remi, Dane, Mark and Jaycee will show up a few times throughout and will be there in the story towards the end and so will Remi's brothers Perrier and Adonis. They will be shocked to find their new life and that will have in book 6 is also Perrier story and that of his own Mates. Sorry to say Jaycee was never his mate :(( but is new female mate has even sad and painfully past that will have a connection to both Savannah and Jaycee.
I received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review. This is the 1st book in this series/author that I have read. I thoroughly loved this book. It is so well written that it keeps your attention and your anticipation as to what happens next. Suzanne is the fated mate to Dominic, Granger and Archer who are vampires with a dragon shift. The book is full of action, drama, a pending war and last but not least sex. You have to read the book to appreciate it. I am not a fan of cliffhangers but I enjoyed this book so much I got the first book to read and if it reads as good as this one, I plan on reading the series. I would highly recommend this book. Awesome!
OK - I have been reading this series out of order. I read 6 a couple weeks ago, which had Suzanne already with her guys. This was nice reading how they got together. Suzanne had been abused as a child but wanted what her friends had. She had the guts to go to the Dragon's Den (a BDSM club) to see if she could find a man who would control her body and cherish her at the same time. She didn't expect to have 4 mates. Since I already know how they get along, it was fun seeing the beginning. I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review and I recommend this series if you like hot sex, multiple partners, brave women and strong relationships.
Vampires and Dragons, oh my! This series just keeps getting hotter! This book was incredibly entertaining, theres an impending war, alliances to make and mates to find, and some very steamy romance! Suzanne's survived hell, and now she wants her own mate, but why have one mate when you can have four? After mating the king of the vampires, Suzanne meets the goddess Empusa and receives some gifts to help even the odds in the coming war. As Suzanne's story is told, another heart-breaking piece of the puzzle is revealed. Great narration, definately on yo the next book.
I received this book as an ARC from Netgalley and the author. This was a nice departure from the earlier books, with the females getting stronger and playing a more active role in conquering evil. I see the author evolving from women needing the men to protect them to the women been able to rescue themselves. A nice change. This book got 3 stars instead of 4 stars due to the abrupt ending to the book.
This is book five in the series and she is a new Author for me. I now want them ALL. It was one book I just could not put down, the suspense and what this woman had gone through since she was a child of thirteen.I have bought book one to see how this series started .There are Dragons, Werewolves, Fae, Magic makers and a Goddess all coming together with Humans.I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
This is a fast-paced read with lots of drama and suspense. Susanne is a great character and so many sexy, hot alphas. The story grips you from beginning to end and the sex is off the charts hot. I loved it!
overall liked and enjoyed this book. characters felt well balanced, plot was interesting and moved steadily (if on occasion too easily & quickly resolved). heroes all tough alphas but had softness & caring willing to show to their mate (and admit when they screwed up which was nice too), heroine wasn't a push over but stood up for herself when needed. other than the heroine (a little bit of the one hero) there was no back story given other than what was in the blurb so your a little dumped into the story at first though it doesn't take long to be pulled in. (though some of that background info in the blurb doesn't seem to impact the story all and ends up feeling like excess info). while the story seems to end a little abrupt with a bit of a cliff hanger feeling as far as the series and secondary characters go, the relationship featured in the book feels solid and satisfying overall.
Now this one I liked. A woman with inner strength who uses it. Abused as a child she protects others and builds on her strength so she'll never be abused again. Well done indeed.
Dragon's Dent by trinity blacio. Suzanne Butterfield wanted an alpha male of her own. It was hard to admit that she was jealous of what her friend Tonya had; a man who knew how to control her life, worship her body and make her submit.
