Space has no fury like an intergalactic sex fiend given free reign. From the twisted, seductive mind of director John Bruno comes DEEP PROBE, penned by best-selling authors A.J. Llewellyn and D. J. Manly.
DEEP PROBE, a hot M/M science-fiction tale set on a planet far, far away features six astronauts on a rescue mission to a distress signal. They find no signs of unusual life. One of the crew. however, pockets a mysterious green rod. He soon finds it has a mind and sexual tastes all of its own…
A.J. Llewellyn lives in California, but dreams of living in Hawaii. Frequent trips to all the islands, bags of Kona coffee in the fridge and a healthy collection of Hawaiian records keep this writer refueled.
A.J’s passion for the islands led to writing a play about the last ruling monarch of Hawaii, Queen Lili’uokalani as well as a non-erotic novel about the overthrow of her kingdom written in diary form from her maid’s point of view.
A.J. never lacks inspiritation for male/male erotic romances and on the rare occasion this happens, pursues other passions such as collecting books on Hawaiiana, surfing and spending time with friends and animal companions.
A.J. Llewellyn believes that love is a song best sung out loud.
Okay, let me warn you: this book is so hot that my ice packs got a real work out to cool me down enough to attempt writing a review. Actually, you should just read it yourself because I'm not sure that any review can do it justice.
I was fascinated because most of the book reads like porn, sort of. It's not just hot porn though, it's funny as well. But then there's also a subtle alien threat woven in (well, subtle only in the beginning, until I figured it out) and this real attraction between Beckett and Cruz, which I thought was going to get lost - but then it comes back at the end - man what a ride!
These two authors have the most amazing imaginations! Wicked good! All of the above and a happy end as well. I'm melted.
Deep Probe was hilarious. It had me laughing out loud in places and wanting my own alien 'rod'. Everybody does everybody in this book so those who don't even like a serious menage, don't bother with this. It's group sex as its funniest yet, like all true romances, they pair off in the end because the rod has a romantic core. One of the men described it as cosmic Cupid. Another worried that a giant calamari will pop out of their bellies a la Alien, the movie.
There's another movie reference - Mr Spock and and Capt Kirk (doing each other, of course) and that's what this story reminded me of - a sort of gay sci-fi porn spoof of the original Star Trek episode. I watched 3 of these old ST episodes on the flight to LA last month and if you've seen any, you'll know exactly what I mean.
This is a short story - just 82 pages on my reader - and revolves around a main cast consisting of Beckett, the starship's commander, Cruz his lieutenant, Infinity the ship's doctor (who's black and has a big dick, of course), Gross who has a monster dick, Karsten and Malloy, whose name changes between Molloy and Malloy from page to page.
If you're in the mood for something rollickingly funny and hilarious, love spoofs, Star Trek and group-sex-in-space, don't miss Deep Probe. I loved it and would read it again. And again. Because despite the orgies, (even the ship had an orgasm) and the entire starship's crew are fucking each other's brains out (this happens in the background and only towards the end of the book so no details, don't worry), there is love between the couples in the main cast I listed earlier.
Okay, let me begin with a warning: this book is so hot that my ice packs got a real workout attempting to cool me down enough to try writing a review. Actually, you should just read it yourself because I'm not sure that any review can do it justice. I was fascinated because most of the book reads like porn, sort of. Becket is the ship's captain, and while he has a secret crush on his first officer, Cruz, they both know they can’t act on it. After all, they're a military ship. And when they receive a distress signal of unknown origin, of course he gives the order to approach and find out what it is. He reminds the two members of the crew sent out to examine the moon the signal originates on not to bring anything back to the ship. Like that’s going to actually happen with chaotic guys like Gross around!
Cruz has his own fantasies about the captain, but is trying manfully to hold back. That is, until he encounters the illegally retrieved alien object, the one he took away from Gross for safekeeping. Things get a little crazy after that… with a mix between a mystery to be solved and some wonderful, ahem, stress relief, Cruz, Becket and the other four members of the crew end up having an amazing time.
These two authors have the most amazing imaginations! Wicked good! All of the above and a happy end as well. I'm melted. I you like your science fiction super hot, if you enjoy reading stories that make you wonder whether any of that could actually be real – in any universe, and if you're looking for a humorous take on one heck of a "first contact", then you will probably like this novella. I think it deserves to be part of the genre "porn in space", but with a sound helping of humor as well, it’s simply hilarious.
I’ve never said this about an erotica before but TOO MUCH SEX! Yes, those scenes are well written and scorching hot but where’s the story? This is only 89 pages and if you were to take out the sex scenes, it would probably be 6 or 7 pages. That is a ridiculous amount of naked men. (And I love me some hot nude guys.) The plot was so unique and had such possibility but it was drowned out by the sex.
I dunno if you could say hilarious porn, but it's definitely what this book was for me :) Hot and humorous at the same time. I have only one complaint though: my Mom cooks borsch like nobody's business, so it could be tasty! )))
This was a hard book for me to rate. I ended up rating it on the quality of the story and gave it 5. My initial reaction was to give it less because I was expecting a story about Jack and Lucky, I was slightly disappointed. Having this story (which was a great story) about unrelated characters and different genre mixed into the series threw me for a loop. Great story just be prepared it does not have Jack or Lucky in it and has really nothing to do with previous books.
If your looking for hot sex scenes, written well with one, two, three or more gorgeous guys this short book is for you. However if you were hoping there is a story here to go with all the sex you might be disappointed. I didn't find any and I really prefer some story and some romance to go with lots of hot sex.
