Talk about a somewhat abrupt turn for action. The vampires are knocking on the door, and they do not come in peace. Anis has to dig deep to not only survive, but also to keep those she loves save. It is certainly a more action packed volume than many of the earlier books in the series, although not entirely unexpected there is a bit of what I feel is melodrama as well. They come with some solid character development and world building, but I am just not a fan of mid-fight debates about one's motivation and the meaning of life. It did not last long enough to distract from my enjoyment, and I do enjoy the characters, their interaction and the world, so still a solid read. It is a great series and I am curious about what comes next.
My yuri and isekai hearts feel so full. Lots of great battle scenes and character development here. Really fun, colorful (at times, maybe even grotesque) descriptions throughout this LN. I found my head spinning with all the monsters and their demise. Will be curious to see what else is to come from Anis and Euphie!
