This book is misfiled. It is a festschrift in honor of Ashley Montague's 90th birthday, and is EDITED by Lieberman and Larry T Reynolds.

As the title suggests, this book concentrates mostly on Ashley Montague's 1942 book Man's Most Dangerous Myth: The Fallacy of Race (qv), and, being a festschrift, the 23 articles by anthropoligists, sociologists, etc are mostly laudatory, rarely critical, and tend to neglect Ashley Montague's quite large body of other work.

As such, it's a useful introduction to Ashley Montague's impact as a teacher. For more detailed analysis of his work, it's probably best to go back to the texts themselves, and contemporary and later reviews and discussion.
