Rowan and Valiance #3

Going It Alone

Rate this book
Rowan is a talented young enchanter but relies on his elf bodyguard, Valiance, to support him so that his spells don’t go wrong. When Valiance makes his annual trip home to visit his family, Rowan is not sure that he can cope alone. A sudden emergency means that he has to do his best, with only a temporary bodyguard to help him. The results have important consequences, not only for Rowan’s magical powers, but for his relationship with Valiance, too.

I write fantasy, history and humour, all with an m/m theme.

I live in the heart of the English countryside, surrounded by animals (none of whom have yet proved to be shape-changers.) I was brought up on C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, and later on read the historical novels of Rosemary Sutcliffe and Mary Renault, who were great influences on my writing.

I missed this installment of Rowan and Valiance when it came out. They are an intriguing couple and I look forward to more about them in the future.
