Text is cheap and readable. If you are the type of student who wants to be able to read picture and diagram legends and not read the text this is not the book for you. Entire book is in black and white (which makes it cheap for a hardcover textbook) and images are therefore not flashy or important.

Very interesting and covers a huge variety of subjects! The text would however benefit from more images... and I would have benefitted more from the book if my Chemistry was better.
