C: The type of text features within this work was a small table of contents which will help the children identify which parts of the book explain what about cows. There are also large illustrations of these cows that correlate with the sentences on the following page. Some words such as calf are bolded to grasp the child's attention as well. D: This book can be read as a bed time story, a group setting, or as a read along. This book would be perfect for a child who loves animals or has a large interest in farm animals.
I found this book to have great illustrations an context. This book is simple enough for very young readers to read. The fact about the animal are written in a simple way that children can retain the information. I enjoyed reading the book as an adult.
