Like Book 2, this isn't as good as the first book but it does have its merits. "The House That Lacked a Bogle” is an excellent ghost comedy, "Out of the Earth" is creepy in an old fashioned way and "Brownie" is a good tale about two boys trying to bully a mild-mannered ghost.
