Christi Anna’s creativity and imagination are second only to her ability to weave an entrancing tale of love and desire.
Born in the Heartland state, she grew up in central Oklahoma City. By age twenty, she was married and four years later was expecting her first child. She had a desire to write, but put all plans on hold to raise her ever-growing family. Ten years later, though a high school dropout, she found the courage to reach beyond her lack of education. She aspired to become the author of a compelling book series she had imagined nearly eleven years earlier with the creation of one word: Emovamp. This singular word sparked a dynamic love story for the truly romantic at heart, spanning more than six books in length. An emotional series that leaves no feeling untapped and no heart empty.

I started this book only a couple days ago and could not put it down. Every chapter seemed to pull me in even more. The story reminds me a bit of Twilight. Guys fighting over a girl, 'Emovamps', a girl not so sure of herself. But, it's also different. I've gotta give credit to Christi, im one of her biggest fans now. I cant wait to read book two. Like romance? Supernatural? Some suspense and young adult fiction? This is your book!

This book was a great read. A fresh new idea to the recent flood of vampire books that had me reading for more. Though, as it is a fresh new idea there were bits to it I found a bit disappointing. But overall it was a great start to a great new series that I am sure will not disappoint.

I really loved how this book gave you a background to the main character before she went and threw in the men of her love triangle. But with a main character such as this, it was completely necessary. Daniela was born with a heart condition, so she was use to spending all of her time in the hospital when the book opens up, she is waiting for a heart for a heart transplant she would soon die without. She is a twin, her sister Kimi is her best friend and always can cheer her up, no matter what. But one day when Kimi is on her way to the hospital to see Daniela, or Dani as everyone else calls her, she gets into a fatal car accident with another car slamming into her side of the car while he was texting and missed a light. Kimi told the paramedics to give her heart to her twin Dani right before she died.

Fast forward five years later after a successful heart transplant Dani is finally living on her own and has sworn off love, due to the fact that her body could at any time regret the heart and she would die. She would never want to put anyone though the pain that she had to go through losing her sister. Then she meets a AMAZINGLY swoon worthy doctor who, come to find out later, is instantly captivated by her. As she is with him. Ladies and Gentlemen meet Dr. Robert Hollin. But wait, there is another steamy man you all should meet, though she did meet this hunk second... Miles Chadwick is a attorney at his dads firm, his father is taking on the law suit her family filed with the man who killed Kimi, and he also falls head over heels for her right as his saw her in the lobby.

So you all must be thinking, as well as Dani, why these steamy hunks are immediately attracted to Dani?! Well, they are emovamps. They can take all your emotion and pretty much your life and soul with one hot passion filled kiss. Which is the first thing I was disappointed about. I thought this was a GREAT idea, which it is, but it makes for no more than a great kiss as far as romance goes. And a short kiss at that, because Dani has the amazing energy and emotion that these two hunks have never sensed before. They can not control their feedings when kissing Dani, it is so powerful they have to have it and they have no control over the say. It is also extremely easy to kill Dani because of her emotion and energy. And to top it all off for poor Dani, the reason she is so delectable to these two is the fact that she is a heart transplant patient. She not only has her emotions and energy in her, but that of her sister.

I must say, I am on team Robert. He gets to date her first and he is the only one who has gotten to kiss her. That is why they know she can be killed easily and he has no control over his feeding when kissing her. Miles doesn't give up of course though. He has asked her out on a date and is going to try and make her fall in love with him instead. But when Miles is going to be late to their date he asked his trusted friend and right hand man, Alistair, to move the date back an hour. Of course Alistair is also an emovamp, and he also smells her unique emotion. He then kidnaps Dani, she is thinking she is going to the date with Miles and the normal time, and takes her to an abandoned house. He is going to kill her, and take all her emotion and power for himself.

Don't fear readers, because Miles shows up to save her. As does Robert. When Miles was out of energy Robert finished off the job. I know I know, i am giving you an abrupt ending here, but really that's how it felt to me. She wakes up in the hospital and Robert is by her side. She is going to be fine and, never fear, Miles shows up to tell her he is not going to give up on her loving him instead of Robert. So you KNOW that the next book promises a wonderful love triangle, which I also love. [:

I have to tell you, I really really did like the idea of this book and the characters, but I did not like how whiny Dani was. She could be reduced to tears in an instant, after all she went through it would have been nice to see a little back bone in the girl. Also, the punctuation in this book made me want to edit it. I could look over it at the beginning but after awhile, I could not stand all the exclamation points after everything. I mean, I get it, the action scenes where suppose to be exciting. But three in a row or more? Give me a period to know it is serious, not an exclamation point that seems like a 13 year old girl was watching and yelling at her friend about what was going on afterward.

But other than that, this book was a good read. Though they can only get one steamy hot kiss in there, I hope for more in the second, because I WILL be reading book number two. This is going to be a good series that will only get better as it moves forward.

Happy reading all.

Its very rare that you find a book like this. This author was referred to me by another author who felt she might like to be interviewed on our bookpage and im so very glad she did. From the moment I cracked the book open (well, opened the file on my e-reader) I was hooked. The main character is a beautiful klutz who has prepared for a life of solitude until she gets thrown into a world of super natural beings who can steal your life with a simple kiss. My emotions were being pulled left and right with Daniela’s tale. I experienced sadness, excitement, discomfort and fear of a new type of villain! And I’ll tell you this, I had NO idea who the bad guy would be until the end and when she/he came forward it felt SO obvious!!! I seriously recommend this book to everyone and am DYING to read the next book!!!

I give this book 4 out of 5 stars and feel this book could easily become as famous as The Twilight Saga and The Sookie Stackhouse Series. ‘Wonder’ kept me captivated from beginning to end with twist after twist and constant building excitement! I’m so proud to have the chance to interview Christi Anne and thank her so much for giving me the opportunity!!

The book "Wonder" puts a different spin on the typical Vampire book. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the term "emovamp" did not mean a vampire who dressed like an emo. I am not going to ruin the book here, so you will have to read it to find out more. This is a great book. Character and scene descriptions were written very well. The main character Daniela, is a young woman who is struggling to find her place in the world. She has bad luck and is quite the klutz. I find that to be an endearing quality in a main character as most authors try to make their main character perfect. The ending of the book also surprised me. I really liked how it showed that the "too easy" ending was exactly that "too easy" and finished by going in a different direction. This book definitely left me wanting more. I couldn't seem to put it down once I started it. I can't wait until the next book!! Great read, this is one you won't want to miss out on!!

In a secret world unknown to us strives a unique race of vampires. The Pulire are emotional vampires, emovamps, who feed off the emotional energy of humans to live and they have caught scent of a most special human.

Daniela was blessed with a second chance at life at the loss of her sister. Turning her back on love she has convinced herself that a life of solitude will be her destiny of choice.

Destiny however is calling her bluff and will lead her to an undeniable passion. A passion damned with betrayal, jealousy and yearning.

Wonder is Watson’s debut novel in the Thief of Life series. This self published book is a great start to what could possibly be an amazing series. I really feel with a few edits and development this series could be a major competitor in the highly demanded vampire market that includes Twilight and the Vampire Diaries.

Look out Twilight. Christi Watson is creating a new hit series of books, that is knocking socks off. Its humorous, endearing, and romantic with just enough danger to give the readers the chills. If your looking for a new series to get into, you will not be disappointed.

I like the book and the story, but the way it shifts between different people in first person perspective confuses me. I would have given it five stars if it had been done in a third person view instead.

Great book! Again not my style, I am not into vampire novels but this is spectacularly done! I found myself getting lost in the characters, emotion and romance of the entire thing. Anxious to read more by Christi Anna! :)
