The coronavirus has struck Los Angeles, and a group of boon companions has been strewn and stranded far from home and each other.

During the long year of their estrangement, COVID has made each of their lives miserable. Except for Jimmy Jack Jones who, as is his way, surveys the pain and suffering the virus has wrought and “There ought to be a way to make a buck out of this.”
