The coronavirus has struck Los Angeles, and a group of boon companions has been strewn and stranded far from home and each other. This is a tale about the trials they endure coping with the pandemic, and the helter-skelter ways in which they make it back together and to their house of El Gato. During the long year of their estrangement, COVID has made each of their lives miserable. Except for Jimmy Jack Jones who, as is his way, surveys the pain and suffering the virus has wrought and “There ought to be a way to make a buck out of this.” He does. And there are consequences.
