a single story, nicely written with a calmness that comfortably contrasts the strong emotions of the focal character redirecting her anger at a cheating husband at one friend encouraging another to pursue an extra-marital relationship. or maybe it's just a practice session.
i will need to read more derby, i've only ready this and one other story but he has a small collection published as well.

I wonder if this is just an excerpt from something longer. It has a wider scope than these 28 pages allows. Still, it's great to see something new from Derby (Super Flat Times was awesome in 2003!) and this is a fun story about adultery and surveillance.
