Eons ago, vampires tried to turn the dark Fae to harness their magic, only to create a demonic enemy more powerful than they could have imagined. Cicely Waters, owl shifter and Wind Witch, has rescued the Fae Prince Grieve at a great cost. Their reunion has lost them the allegiance of the Summer Queen--and the tolerance of the vampires. In desperation they turn to the Consortium for help. Now, to regain the good will of Lainule, they must dare to enter the heart of Myst's realm. Favorite quote: “There is much to fear in the dark. There are monsters under the bed and in the closet, and now they walk aboard at will.“

Wind witch and owl shifter, Cicely Waters, rescued her lover, Fae Prince Grieve from the Indigo Court, but not before Myst, the Queen Of Winter, turned him. The rescue destroyed Cicely’s alliance with Lainule, the Queen of Summer and destroyed any hope of cooperation from the vampires. Cicely, in desperation, appeals to the Consortium for help.

When the Queen Of Summer begins to fade, Cicely offers to find and bring back Summer’s heartstone. Cicely also has to find a way to change Grieve back and keep Lannan at arms length. As friends turn enemy and enemies become allies, Cicely will find herself standing on the edge of the precipice, her destiny unfolding before her as she fights for all she loves and believes in.

Night Seeker, the third installment of Yasmine Galenorn’s dark and sensual fae fantasy, picks up right where Night Veil left off and blows it all out of the water. Well-plotted and cast with characters that are strong and personable, Night Seeker is filled with taut suspense, delicious betrayal, and dangerous antagonists. I consider Night Seeker the turning point in this series. It’s an emotionally captivating story that throws open the doors of previously unknown and tightly guarded secrets. It doesn’t promise us that everything will be fine but it does give us hope towards the future. A strong storyline with fascinating intertwining subplots drives this story opposed to the last two installments which spent more time laying the foundation of the arc and its key players.

Ms. Galenorn’s exceptional insight into supernatural mythology is readily apparent and her added mixture of new lore produces a stunning urban fantasy world that first starts in Night Veil and continues it’s dark and dangerous journey in here. Instead of being overburdened by over detailed interpretation and world building at the sacrifice of story, or being heavy on story but leaving the world largely undefined, Night Seeker continues the arc’s perfect balance and hits all the right notes. The world building is a perfect blending of carnal passions, electrifying action, realistic characters, and stark betrayal. Well plotted and fast paced, it creates a satisfying development for the main characters and culminates in two very different sort of conflicts – one that threatens the lives of Cicely and Grieve and one that threatens their hearts.

I have loved Cicely Waters since I first met her. Loyal, intelligent, and strong willed- she has made choices that many would balk at making yet she made them without batting an eye. She has a strong moral code that shines against the manipulations of those around her. Born to a drug user with no knowledge of her father, her survival on the streets made her into the warrior we see before us. She has matured so much as a character.. We share an intimate connection with Cicely as her pain, her sorrow, and her triumphs become our own. It has been an exciting ride as we have watched her grow from a solitary figure to having friends, family, and a lover. Her personality develops more and more with each book. She is still scared but she is learning how to trust in herself and others. Though still learning of her gifts and background, she now better understands from where she has come from and what is expected from her. Finally reunited with the love of her life but bound to a man who holds her life in his hands, Cicely again finds herself crippled by past decisions.

Grieve and Lannan are the two men who are integral parts of Cicely’s life. Grieve, Fae Prince of Summer, has been a part of Cicely’s life since she was a little girl. Past installments show us that they are actually old souls who cheated death and found a way to reunite. Grieve’s love for Cicely is a physical entity. Their chemistry burns the pages with each small moment they are able to steal. With every word Grieve speaks, with every gesture he makes, you know he will do anything to be with her. Lannan, on the other hand is a distasteful, yet fascinating mixture of anger and cruelty. A sado masochist, he was able to trick Cicely into signing a contract with the Crimson Court and in doing so, now essentially owns her. He is seductively cruel in his demands of Cicely, celebrating the pain and humiliation he brings to her. His feelings for her have grown from tolerance to obsession and he is dangerously close to destroying them both. What I truly enjoyed in here was the solid support Cicely has at her back in regards to Lannan. When she first signed the contract, she was pretty much on her own. Now with her father, Grieve, and the other renegades in the war against Myst standing with her, Lannan soon learns that he may hold her contract, but there are bigger, badder entities than him who claim Cicely as their own and won’t hesitate to remove him permanently from the equation if need be.

The cast of supporting characters are a vivid and dynamic group. Each one fully capable of holding their own story. I like that each have distinct, separate personalities and substories; ensuring they are never overwhelmed by our protagonists. The main conflict of the story is a whirlwind of intrigue, tension, and action as Cicely struggles to save Summer and find away to defeat Myst.

If you enjoy noir urban fantasy that stretches all your boundaries, then Yasmine Galenorn is the author to buy and her Indigo Court is the series to read. I don’t recommend starting the series here. It has a long reaching arc and each new installment picks up at the end of the last one.

The 3rd book in the Indigo Court series. Cicely and her friends have rescued Grieve but at the cost of their alliance with the vampires and the Summer Queen. In desperation, they turn to the Consortium, the preeminent magical guild, for help. Now, to regain the good will of Lainule, they must dare to enter the heart of Myst's realm. But as Cicely and Grieve embark on their search for the heartstone of Summer, Myst, the Queen of Winter, is already wrecking her terrifying revenge.

I was really amazed at just how much was packed into this book. There was lots of action in the previous two books but this one seemed to kick it up a notch. Don't want to give too much away but there is a lot of change of leadership in the supernatural realm. We get to learn a little bit more about the Consortium (and I have a feeling they will be playing a bigger part in later books) and Rhia's and Peyton's backgrounds as well. We've been told that there is more to the history of Grieve and Cicely than has been revealed so far but no clue what it is. Several things do get resolved a bit but so much more gets set-up. Love this series!

Series Keeps Getting Better and Better!

I strongly recommend you read the previous books in the series (Night Myst and Night Veil) prior to reading this installment.

I really enjoy this series; and while I find it a bit darker and more series than the Otherworld series, there is also a superficial element to it. However, it does not have a great impact on the story and can be bypassed or disregarded easily.

I loved the story progression and the feeling of unraveling a great, dangerous mystery; in addition to the deep sense of danger slithering around every corner. This was definitely my most favored book of the series so far.

For the series fans, this book is a must read. There is a lot that happens in this installment that will have considerable influence and consequences on future books.

I highly recommend this book to fellow dark urban fantasy readers and look forward to the next book Night Vision due out July 2013.

I also recommend:
Once Burned (Night Prince, Book 1)
Pleasure Unbound (Demonica, Book 1)
Shadow's Fall (A Novel of the Shadow World)
Bloodstone (A Deadtown Novel)
Lover Reborn (Black Dagger Brotherhood)

Another good story. RIP Heather. Glad that Peyton was able to meet her father, Rex. Also glad that they were able to save Lainule and Rhiannon was able to find out who her father is/was. Yay!!! Rhiannon and Cicely will be queens. Wonder what will happen with Lannon as Regent and Geoffrey out. Also weird that Leo got turned into a vampire. Can't wait to read Night Vision!!!!

First book of 2021 completed! The heat is on for Cicely as she learns the ones she trusted have ulterior motives that are not in her best interest. Cicely as a femme fatale is not really doing it for me. There different males want her and she is only interested in one of them. The one who is bond to her for lifetimes... This soul pairing seems to be constantly tragic for Cicely and Grieve.

What I do like about this book is how much loss occurs. The good guys are not winning easily. They sustain heavy loses as they battle the bad guys. This gives a general sense of hopelessness and shows just how much Cicely must press forward to bring people together to fight a common enemy.

The politics and hubris in this book continues to increase whilst Cicely just wants to cut through all the red tape and fix everything. Cicely is definitely more an idealistic youth that will either be crushed or learn the hard lesson of picking and choosing your battles.

Recommended for Urban Fantasy readers who like dark fairy tales.

"How can you eat that? It's nothing but sugar and fluff."
"I like sugar and fluff."

Although I love this series I also think this was the weakest book so far. I loved Wrath and Lainule's story, and I enjoyed meeting the new additions to the cast (although at times it felt there were a few too many to balance for them to get their fair share of development) and learning more about the vamps and the consortium, but my god...

No way some of the things that happened in this book should have happened off-screen. Leo and Geoffrey and everything to do with them? Should have been witnessed by Cicely or Kaylin via dreamwalking or astral projection, if not by having them get captured and somehow escape. Leo in particular having some villainous turn in the last book and then just vanishing in this book feels so clumsy and random, he was an interesting character who deserved better. If this was the way his story had to play out I'd at least like to see more of it so I can invest in hating him.

Then there were other political things I thought would be addressed. Like, why certain people would have loyalties to some of these characters going forward, what the ramifications of them stepping into these leadership roles would be. I'm sure the author wants to save that for the next book, but having a character like Cicely or Rhiannon at least be nervous about it here would have been enough.

It felt like, in all honesty, this one could have been fifty to sixty pages longer. I wouldn't be mad. I think it needed a few more scenes for characters like Luna, Ysandra, Regina, and Lannan and Chatter to speak up and say their piece, their characters all deserved a little more focus, a little more oomph. That's not even mentioning Zoey, who was there and gone in the blink of an eye and unfortunately didn't make much of an impression whatsoever.

I think Luna and Kaylin are two of the most fascinating characters with the most unique powers, so there's a lot of missed opportunity there to explore that. And Regina is such a complex character with so many conflicting agendas and loyalties, it's a wonder she's not more insane, but despite her hedonism and incestuous tendencies she's one of the more clever and composed individuals in the books so far, at least not counting her wild introduction in book one. But her job is more demanding now, so she's more focused on that, and it's interesting.

Grieve continues to be the most boring man interested in Cicely, and therefore, naturally, the only one she really wants back. I like Grieve but he does next to nothing for me. For a cursed bad boy fae prince he sure is...vanilla? Not underwhelming or overwhelming. Just whelming. I'm just whelmed.

The kiss went on and on, dizzying and deep and filled with his hunger.

It's just funny how all of these vampires and all of these fae are supposed to be bisexual or less hung up on gender and monogamy but we only ever see that brought up as shorthand for how depraved and hedonistic the vampires are. Like...yikes. And I figured Cicely was bi, since she often responds to Regina and spends paragraphs talking about how beautiful other women are, but nope, she's apparently exclusively into men according to this book, with her thinking that even if she did 'experiment' with a woman, it wouldn't be Regina.

Cicely. Girl. You're in bisexual denial.

Like there is no way the character from the first two books is not attracted to women. Her narration is just too sus for that. Take my word for it, okay? I can buy that she doesn't think she is, but she obviously is, and it's hilarious. Straight women don't think about other women and their bodies like this Cicely. I diagnose you with gay.

No but Cicely and her narration continue to be a major draw. The writing style is compact and forward where it needs to be, kind of reminding me of Richelle Mead's style, but also knows when to get kind of artsy and witchy. I love that balance and Cicely's believable toughness. She was more obnoxious in this book than the previous two, but she's fed up and tired and starting to make mistakes, so I can buy that, and it was nothing too off-putting. She is a good leader, but a good leader also knows when to listen when their teammates and advisers are telling them to tread with caution, and she's far too fond of getting self-righteous and deciding she knows better when this happens.

I LOVE Wrath and his entire presence and relationship with Cicely in this book. He's an honest to god fave for me. An absolute king. His relationship with Lainule is so pure and he's such a good dad to Cicely and Lainule owns up to her mistakes and is a pretty damn good stepmother to Cicely too. Their little family moments were so sweet and I was really happy for Cicely to finally have that after her awful childhood.

Where the previous books felt a lot more urban fantasy this one was almost slipping into high fantasy at times. It had enough surprises, twists, and character/world development to keep me interested.

I love that Galenorn is allowing the world and status quo to change at the end of each book. Things don't just return to normal, instead, a new normal is forged. This brings a feeling of actual stakes and development to the franchise that makes everything more impactful and entertaining. I think it would also greatly add to reread value down the line, with each book feeling like a unique era even though they're all taking place in a relatively tight timespan.

Chatter and Kaylin are kings and I wish we got to see more development and spend more time with them. I've loved seeing their arcs so far. Chatter is a cinnamon roll who could kill you.

Chatter decided to be adventurous and bit into a peanut butter sandwich, his face taking on the look of a confused cat with peanut butter stuck to the roof of his mouth.

It did have a few weird moments, because why did stabbing a guy in the heart give Cicely and orgasm and why did she cry and cum at the same time with Grieve later on? I just...I had to cringe at those scenes. Although I did laugh when she was climbing the tree naked and trying to be careful because she didn't want a splinter in her pussy. Hilarious stuff.

On to the next!

It has to said that with each book the dynamics in the series shift more and more towards Cicely and Grieve's favor with the end result being an HEA for the pair once they defeat Myst once and for all.

There is a lot of headway made toward that goal in this 3rd book of the series, but not quite yet have they accomplished their goal.

The betrayals that started in Night Veil are explained as well as explored in more depth in Night Seeker, much to the readers enjoyment what started out as a handicap has been dealt with by the addition of new players in the game who are willing to aid Cicely and the rest to oust Myst.

There is much violent, bloody action in this book as the fighting amongst the different supernatural factions gets pretty intense every time they come together as antagonists.

With some surprising changes for Cicely and her cousin Rhiannon there are going to be more exciting twists in book 4 Night Vision that I am looking forward to reading in the near future.

I was so looking forward to reading this book after Night Veil, but I guess I had my hopes set too high because I was bored and disappointed. I thought that Grieve and Cicely were a snoozefest, and if not for the sexy, hedonistic vamp, Lannan, my rating would have been 2 stars. It did have the usual good fantasy storyline, but the fantasy scenes were too long and drawn out for me and I found myself looking ahead to see how many pages I had left to slog through--not a good thing and a sure indication that the book just wasn't doing it for me. I even stopped reading at 65%--put the book down and read some other things for a week jic my mind wasn't in the right place, but when I picked it back up, unfortunately it hadn't gotten any better. If not for my hopes of the next book getting back to the good stuff of the last 2, I probably would have given up about 2/3 the way through. So why 3 stars? Lannan and the last 80 or so pages. Those who love fantasy (and I'm talking fairy tale fantasy, not urban fantasy) will probably enjoy this MUCH more than I did.

I'm not giving up though. Lannan made Cicely a promise and there's no way I'm going to miss how it plays out!

Haven't been able to put it down. I read the first 60% the first night. If I didn't have to work I just might have finished the book! I just love these people and I really want to see what happens with Lannan and Cicely now that he is in his new though temporary position! I think it could be HOT!!!!

Ok So finished it last night! Sometimes I hate the way I'm left wanting more! This is one of those times. Felt like a total cliff hanger. Lannan was a fav in this one. And I can't wait to see what thee future holds for all of them in the next book. I hate the wait. I wish I had found this series once it was finished because I could just sit down and knock it out! These characters are so like able. Even if you hate them you love to hate them. The only one i have an issue with is Grieve and he's just become a bore in this book but I hope he'll get better in the next one.

Cicely and the gang are once again on the run. Living in a warehouse, they are not only on the run from Myst and the Shadow Hunters. Cicely did not go along with the vampire and summer queen's plan to turn Cicely into a “Myst” like hybrid so they are also isolated from the vampires and the summer queen, Lainule. Cicely decides she must retrieve Lainule’s heart stone from the depths of Myst kingdom, to save the summer queen and her allegance. Taking on this journey that will change both Cicely and Rhia's fate forever!

Wow, Night Seeker is non-stop, action packed! Incredible revelations are revealed. Of course, Yasmine Galenorn didn’t disappoint in the romance, sex, sexual tension and all around heat of her characters, but she didn’t overwhelm the story with it either. This is a great series! Great story! 5 Stars!

Enter the world of the Fae, Shifters, Magic, Vampires and more...Nothing is as it seems and enemies become friends.

Cicely is back trying to protect her friends and loved ones as she settles the score with Myst, who wants nothing more than to end her life. This tale culminates the battle for Summer vs. Winter as everyone lays their lives on the line to protect their town.

Ms. Galenorn's tales are deep and rich with world building. Her characters are unique and conflicted. They aren't white or black but shades of gray. Cicely is in love with one man but is turned on by another. She wants to do what is right but her conscience holds her back.

Fans of Ms. Galenorn's Otherworld series will love this book.

I really don't know why I picked up this one. I barely got through the last one in the series, and I wasn't dying to see how it turned out. I have plenty to read. We'll just call it a bout of insanity, which was cured two chapters in. Seriously, Galenorn's sentence structure was enough to turn me off- with its awkwardness and repetitiveness. Maybe grad school has just ruined me. But even if that wasn't the case - the way her main character turns to jelly any time a remotely attractive male looks at her would have. I don't care what kind of connection they have, at some point, it just starts to feel unrealistic.

WOW! this book was intense. A lot happens in this book, at point I was at 20% and my cat stepped on my kindle and lost my place by the time I found, I was quite surprised with how far I really was into the book, with all that was going on. There's a lot of relevant information in this books, that keeps you interested for the upcoming books. Great book, great series, keep up the great work Ms. Galenorn.

I was really hoping I could give this book a 5-star rating but I just couldn't. For one, the graphic sex was back just like I feared. I found myself skipping over those pages. I'm old enough to know what sex is all about and how it happens and I'm also old enough not to care about it! Romance is fine. But graphic sex scenes? Nope...my days of reading bodice rippers are long gone.

I understand that many times people pick up books and they haven't read the previous books in the series and I understand that the author has to fill them in. But I have to say that this book filled in more than any other book in a series I have ever read. And since I had read the previous books, I skipped the retelling also.

But beyond that, the book was pretty good although it was easy to figure out where the story was going. I pretty much had an idea of what the future would hold for Cecily and Rhiannon, and I was right. I still haven't figured out where Lannon(?) is coming from and which side he will choose to be on by the end.

And I have another favorite character, Ysandra! OMG...this woman kick's major butt! With her and the others of the consortium, there is no way Myst is going to win this war. However, I'm afraid Cecily is getting too powerful and it's going to get a bit boring from here on out. :( With all the powers she has not she cannot lose. Heck, she could take on Myst by herself I believe. Again, I don't like books where one character becomes all-powerful and can do anything and everything. I always feel when an author does that with a character that it should be "(name of character) walked in, kicked Butt, and the story told the end). I hated it when Robert Jordan did it in his "Wheel of Time" series and I'm not liking it much now that it's happening here in this series. Which is a shame because I LOVE the Otherworld books and the Chinz and China books. However, I bought the 4-6 bundle books from Amazon and I will finish them. Time will tell if I continue with this series.

I would, however, like to know more about Luna and Ysandra's lives. Perhaps the author could write a spin off for those two characters...since Cecily is getting all-powerful and a bit boring.

Third in the Indigo Court urban fantasy series revolving around two cousins and their friends.

My Take
It's heavy-handed, melodramatic , and all too easy. Sure there are a number of dramatic moments: a hunt and battles. But when you take a step back, they are only moments---sweet, romantic, terror-filled, and fearful---and their conclusions are too simple. But hey, at least we have the clichéd protagonist who can't be bothered to stop for a minute to learn the negative side effects. Oops, gotta stop and grab that eyeball that rolled right out o' me eye socket...

I was curious as to how Galenorn would handle the big reveal to Ysandra when Cicely confesses to their deception. Yawn. And what's with all the mention of werewolves in the stories so far? They pop up once or twice to what...add a hairy experience? Nothing ever involves them. So...why?

We do get the back story on how Cherish and Shy meet. It's so sweet...yawn… Such potential with Geoffrey and Leo. Good thing Galenorn decided to wait...wouldn't want to tire the boys out too fast. Of course, we have to endure the big dramatic moments of Cicely's cheesy blind acceptance of how her choices will change her fate. No, there's nothing wrong with this; it's actually very admirable. Unfortunately, Galenorn has set me up like Pavlov's dog---a dramatic moment that will flatline and die off.

I do enjoy the characters. They love and care for each other and yet have suffered such losses. Losses more obvious in the tell of the story than in the show. Intellectually, I can empathize, but Galenorn doesn't make me feel it.

It's sad because Galenorn has a great plot with so much potential. Potential that fizzles with the snow that will melt in the spring.

There's also the melodrama of it with patches of cliché worked in. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to the next in the series, Night Vision ---mostly because I always have to know what happens next, but it's not a story I feel compelled to own.

The Story
It's official. Their not-so-happy group have banded together as the Moon Spinners per the Consortium requirements. But they're still in hiding in the warehouse with the Shadow Hunters, Fae, and Vampires hunting for them, even as the Queen of Summer lies dying.

Nothing will stay as it seems, and the old order will be overturned in too many ways to count.

The Characters
Cicely Waters is a witch who manipulates the Air, shapeshifts into an owl, and is soulmated to Grieve. Ulean is the Air Elemental Lainule asked Grieve to bind to Cicely's service. Aunt Heather was taken and turned in Night Myst , 1; all that's left alive of the family is Cicely's cousin Rhiannon Roland, a witch who manipulates fire. And has her own shape!

A prince of summer, Grieve was turned by Myst into a Vampiric Fae, a fate he battles daily. Chatter, his best friend and cousin, is in love with Rhiannon. Wrath, Cicely's father, is the King of Rivers and Rushes, Lainule's consort. And the owl who has been training Cicely to shift. Lainule is the Queen of Summer, terrified by possible loss into choosing wrongful alliances. The Maiden of Knowledge was a great opportunity for some drama—guess Galenorn was tired that day.

Peyton Moon Runner, a half-werepuma and half-magic-born, is about to meet Rex, the father she doesn't remember.

Kaylin Chen is a 101-year-old martial arts sensei and dreamwalker possessed by a night-veil demon. And he is falling for the bard, Luna. Zoey is with the Akazzani, a source that may have a way to rescue Grieve.

Geoffrey the Great is the Northwest Regent for the Vampire Nation and he's determined to turn Cicely, to use her. Leo Bryne was Geoffrey's day runner who made his preferences known in Night Veil , 2. Erik is another day runner who has made some bad choices. Icarus is a vampire who runs Inley, an underground club for vampires.

Regina Altos is the Emissary to the Crimson Court, her brother's twin and lover, and one terrifying vampire; her brother, Lannan, is a professor at the Conservatory, a sadistic, cruel vampire who wants Cicely above all things. Juliana is part of Lannan's stable.

Ysandra Petros is from the Consortium, who knows much more than expected.

Myst, Queen of the Indigo Court, was fae and Geoffrey's lover before Geoffrey turned her, making her so much more powerful than he. When that powerful, who needs partners?

The Vein Lords, a.k.a., the Crimson Court, a.k.a., the Vampire Nation, are the vampires. Yummanii are the fully human. The Consortium is a worldwide organization of supernaturals, who, along with the Vein Lords and certain officials, run the world. Akazzani are a group of historians---yummanii and magic-born---who bear silent witness to the events around them. The Moon Spinners are the new magical society in New Forest. What's left of the city anyway.

The Cover
The cover is a chilling foreshadowing of what is to come, and it's all about Cicely. A dark night brightened by the snowy landscape, by her head an owl roosts on a branch overhanging the icy stream near which Cicely crouches in her deep royal blue u-shaped tank top, her tattoos visible, wearing black leather pants and calf-high stiletto boots. One hand on her hip, the other crossing a thigh and holding a dripping dagger, Cicely is confident and challenging.

The title finds me clueless. Could the Night Seeker be one of the vampires, a Vampiric Fae seeking to avoid the light-rage, or is it a euphemism for death?

This is Book 3 - read the previous books first. Just two weeks have passed since Cicely returned, but enough action for several months has already happened. The two prior books are an essential background to understand what is going on, despite the comprehensive updates in the early chapters. Betrayal hides under the guise of friendship, and aid manifests through the hands of the perceived enemy. There are more betrayals, shifting alliances, unexpected discoveries and much more graphic violence as the war progresses. Some very graphic imagery will hold you spellbound. To their great surprise and shock, Cicely and Rhiannon finally are told their heritage and their future place in the scheme of things. The future holds the final showdown between Myst and Cicely. But with her new-found powers and support of her friends and allies, there is a chance Myst can be overcome.

I feel that each one is getting harder and harder to read and not for lack of story, I just cannot get with the characters. My favorite has to be Chatter and I think this is because he is the only one who seems real. The others even in their emotional times just seem so flat. I continue on because I feel there is potential to the story and the over all arc is enjoyable but I just do not like most of the characters....I was super hoping that this was the end as well, and was disappointed in the fact that I will now have to slug through another to get any closure...

The world that Galenorn has built is captivating and the mythology she created for the very foundation of this series is fascinating. Very immersive. The conflicts, politics and intrigue are enthralling.

For you clean-readers: this book DOES have mature content. You'll need to do some self-editing or scene-skipping to read this one.

I don’t usually write reviews, so I am sure this will be less eloquent than what you’re expecting if you read it; but I just had to say how I feel about this series.
I am so disappointed with the quality of the writing and the series as a whole. The MC was so hard to connect with, but I kept hoping it would get better so I kept reading it only to realize that it doesn’t get better. For the first time ever I have decided not to finish a book series that I started because I just can not get through it. Thinking about going back to read more of this makes me want to stop reading all together. The pacing was so slow and yet so fast somehow at the same time. I’m so sad that I couldn’t finish this series (I bought it as a whole before starting) so I just have 2 books left that I can’t even bring myself to read..

(Explícito). Siento que todo estuvo muy fácil y que se resolvió muy rápido, pero tal vez sea debido a que poco a poco se han ido revelando los secretos; algunos obvios, otros absurdos y pocos generaron más preguntas que respuestas...

This is a very good series. It is steeped in a kind of primal truth, there is the worst of humanity and the best. Love, lust, hatred and deception. It's a fast passed journey threw a world of fae, shifters, witches and vampire.
