Apparently, the book summary has nothing to do with the actual book. I will try my best.
The Survivors are returning from yet another dungeon when they encounter a adventuring group of children?
What brought them into the woods so far from home? Why, rumors of an ancient evil reigniting of course! The children have fled their homes in order to get training to try and avoid a legendary kidnapper.
Nick and the gang, inevitably gets sucked into the intrigue.
