This is one of my all-time favorite books. I forget why I liked it so much, then reread it and love it again. Maybe it's because it's a summer book with long days and hot weather. I love that it's not, in fact, an idyllic summer, but rather a pivotal point in two brother's lives as one prepares to move away for school in the fall. There is a lot of growing up and figuring out relationships that happen.
