the weimaraner by Diane Morgan was a fantastic book if you want to become an owner of the weimaraner. I have two of these dogs and they are so sweet. I recommend this book if you are interested in animals. my favorite part of this book is when they mention the training and the behavior of the weimaraner, because if you are interested of purchasing one of these dogs you can see how they behave and how to train these dogs. a good chapter of this book is the health chapter 8. if you want to purchase a dog, anybody has to research a good healthy dog that is good for them. another good part of this book is the history of the weimaraner. it is cool to learn about a dog that you may be getting or have that dog. the ''gray ghost'' as the weimaraner is nicknamed is a picture of a beauty and haunting grace. the weimaraner is extremely loyal and protective but also friendly, intelligent, and obedient. the weimaraner is developed as a hunter but they have true love for their family. I love this book, not because I have two weim's but because it explains about the weim. if in the future you would like to be a vet, bredder, or a trainer, this book is great for you. you can learn lots from reading just about one dog, like the training of the weimaraner can be the same for every dog. I like how the author illustrated about the weimaraner. this book makes be think of my weims because how the author is illustrating the book. I recommend this book to dog or animal lovers. anyone that is ether a dog lover or a animal lover you will absolutely enjoy this book like I did.

Nice history of Weims, basic care, training, health issues. Included DVD with further tips; I liked the visuals of training to sit, come, stay, down.
