This is a book that I will be referring to quite often. It has so many helpful and useful tips and techniques for learning a foreign language. Yes, it could be a bit repetitive at times (e.g., the use of flash cards), and sometimes I wish there were more technological tips (e.g., app recommendations). On the other hand, I like how the author inserted famous people’s inspirational quotes throughout the book. I also enjoyed reading the interviews of people from various backgrounds who have become successful from learning other languages. It was refreshing to learn different perspectives and viewpoints, and I gained insight from their own tips and techniques. Overall, I always looked forward to reading this book to see what else I could learn from Mr. Harmon. He has a fun, upbeat, inspirational style of writing.
