Complete with many handy tidbits of information & pearls of wisdom, this book looks at all aspects of "success". His opinion is that one cannot be truly successful in only one sphere and emphasises balance across seven areas of life. He defines what success is (and isnt) and goes through these areas to show how one can become more successful in each area.

Personally I enjoyed the true stories that were peppered throughout the text. I did find the whole book a little 'airy' - even though its clearly set out and illustrated. I read a review before reading the book that gave me the impression it was a bit more "How To" than it ended up being, however, I think that this book has alot to offer. I enjoyed the fact that it touched on all aspects of life (including how to be a better partner/friend/parent etc) that seems to be missing from alot of this genre. Essentially, I think its definitely one of those books to refer back to - to keep handy on the bookshelf. It is upbeat and positive and illustrates that no matter where you are in life, there is always hope.

As only Zig Ziglar can do, he incorporates every aspect of life into this incredible collection of ways to achieve success. Big thing is to incorporate all aspects of your life, physical, mental, spiritual, and social as you achieve your desired results in life. I love to refer back to this book often and use it for talks or presentations. There are great anecdotes and stories as well as time proven advice to help everyone out from those who suffer from depression to those who are brimming with confidence and just want to quickly review where they are at and make sure they are grounded. I would highly recommend it--it's almost like a best of Zig Ziglar collection. Well worth the price.

I listened to this book in audible. In the audible version this is 13 hours so bear with it. Like other reviewers mentioned there is a great deal of Christianity in the book but if you look at it through a memoir then you can see that he upholds his religion as a key to his success. His core values I should say. He does give lots and lots of advice about how to become successful, to focus on your success, what does success mean to you personally, and to focus on you and your improvements on you and your family not on others.

good content but it does not present something new. It has what all other self help books. It did not bring any new concepts or ideas.

I wish I had read this book in my twenties although it is a great read at any age!

When one thinks of "success" it is easy to just think in terms of monetary matters and especially the acquisition of "things". And although this excellent read does speak on these things it also talks about having true success in matters of faith, family, vocation, and relationships.

Zig not only discusses these matters but often gives you a gameplan to be successful in their regard. One of the most important things he talks about is having the right priorities, attitude, and a gameplan founded on the proper fundamentals.

Overall, I highly recommend this book!

AUDIOBOOK. Nice little motivational book. "'I wish I had' or 'I'm glad I did'", one of a bunch of little sayings in this short, hour and a half audiobook. Mostly helping your mindset think positively, but if you feel like investing a little time in studying success or positivity, definitely worth the time.

This is a very good Book. Don't let the For Dummies discourage you from reading it. I have absorbed a lot of materila from Motivational psychology and this makes some good additions to that. There is probably nobody bettter on the subject of setting goals than Zig ZIglar. He is very inspirational and thios book is one that sheould also be kept as a reference after it is read.
