"Touch Me" is book five in the Sexplorations series.
I'm Eden Morell and I'm content with my life. So I'm overweight and don't care much for sex since it doesn't ring any of my bells. Who cares? Not me. I have my store, my friends and my writing. That's all I need.
Or at least I thought it was until this crazy wild man drives his motorbike into my life, teaches me about physics and makes me laugh. He also intends to seduce me. The strange thing? I find I want him to.
All of a sudden, sedate Eden is turning into sex-crazed Eden, and I'm barely even worrying about how I look naked. All I want is for him to touch me. And when he does? Oh wow...
*** NOTE: This book has been re-published and is now the first book in the Curvy Girl Steamy Romance multi-author series.
I'm really rather boring... Honestly. I live a pretty hum-drum life as a wife and mother. I shop at the local supermarket and use coupons now and again. See? Boring stuff.
I live in Virginia now, so I am learning all kinds of new things - such as being able to buy beer and wine along with bread and toothpaste. Wow!
Having been born and raised in England, I do possess a well-developed feel for the English countryside. Comes in handy for those Regency tales. Even though I was transplanted over to the US side of the Atlantic, I still have ties to all things Brit. I bake sausage rolls and make Christmas pudding. You can take the girl out of England, but not England out of the girl, I guess.
I'm not sure anyone can write really well unless they read. A lot. I read anything and everything these days. And mostly on my couch with a book on my knees. Yes, the technology is out there for electronic versions, but there's not much to compare with a shiny new hardcover from a favorite author.
Eden is everywoman. Not confident: a little older, a little plumper, softer, curvier. Single : divorced after the grief of her newborn's death unraveled her marriage. Sexually unawakened: never had the big O with the Big D, and vibrators just don't turn her on. In a series of coffee dates with her female writer buddies, she confides her truth. They urge her to keep trying. She says there's no opportunity. When physics professor Sean shows up in her shop one day, it's opportunity knocking, and our Eden nerves up and answers the call. The result is an intensely sensual and erotic exploration of a woman's awakening to her true nature: she is sensual, sexual, a siren to whom Sean is drawn like magic. He's a REAL man and he wants a REAL woman. He lets Eden know in all the ways a man can, that she is worthy, desirable, and beautiful in his eyes. This man knows how to seduce, but it is his transparent honesty and sincerity that reveal the real Eden to herself. An abrupt ending, but otherwise a flawless and incendiary erotic tale.
Love this!!! Author takes this steamy story to deal with not only attraction but very realistic issues for most women including secrets some with never share, lol. Her circle of friends are supportive, straight-forward and laugh-out-loud comical. Although cautious, love that Eden opens up to experience what she needs to steam up her stories. This guy, where can I find him? :) Yes this is so good that I wish it was longer but I am happy with their happy for now because they definitely are and can imagine they have their happily ever after. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author.
First, I want to thank Sahara Kelly for providing me with this book so I may bring you this review.
It is Sahara Kelly’s turn to share her story Touch Me as part of A Curvy Girl Steamy Romance Series. A romance for today’s woman. I was so happy to see that Sahara was a part of this series as I have been a fan of hers for a while. She did not disappoint but actually went above and beyond my expectations. Infact out of all the books in this series this one was my favorite.
As a former curvy girl I loved the dedication. For curvy girls everywhere-we rock!! Don’t ever forget that!
Syneca did a beautiful job on the cover for Touch Me. She is so talented and very creative. She has done all the graphics for the covers In this series.
One major aspect I felt when reading this book was Sahara was writing from her heart and many parts of the book were genuine. I could see her sitting around with her author friends (who write different genres) and gossip about writing. I could also see her spending time in a holistic health shop. I could feel her passion for the storylines as I was reading the book.
I myself really liked the character Eden and a way felt connected to her in many ways. I loved her storyline and how she came out of her shell.
When it came time for the sexual scenes Sahara’s was unlike any other’s I had read. She took her time with these two characters and built up the sexual tension. But what was so unique and different was Sean showing her how beautiful and sexual she was at her size. Many woman (even me when I was heavy) didn’t feel that way. So, for Sahara to put that aspect in the book to me was powerful and well done. I commend her for going where many authors don’t go.
Sahara needs to write more books in this genre. She is incredibly talented.

Touch me is honestly a funny romantic book. Not just all the nice and steamy bits. You will love the playful banter from both main characters, the confidence of her male seducer who just wants to sweep Eden off her curvy feet. She doesn't want to believe that she's beautiful, let alone good looking due to all the things she reads and sees. But that's all gonna change, not even her writing friends can help her on this potential steamy project.
Author Eden Morell is being pressured by her editor to up the heat level in her medical-themed romances. The only problem? The voluptuous writer and New Age store owner has never found sex too exciting. But all that changes when Professor Sean Rafferty walks into her store. The wickedly sensual physicist takes one look at Eden and all he wants to do is touch. And touch he does. Soon the romance writer who has never been too lucky in love and has never believed her unfashionable curves to be appealing finds that there’s a whole lot more to sex, beauty, and love than she ever could have imagined.
Passion and tenderness is the name of the game in this fantastic, red-hot romance by Sahara Kelly. Touch Me is a gorgeous blend of eroticism and warmth with characters who are sure to capture your heart and not let go.
Sean is a dazzlingly erotic whirlwind. He has an energy that jumps off the page from the very first, and it’s his natural exuberance, not to mention his open appreciation for Eden, which charmed me so well. Like Eden, I found him to be impossible to resist. Speaking of the object of Sean’s desire, what I loved about Eden is how real she felt. She’s intelligent, kind, and lovely, but she has very real self-esteem issues when it comes to her looks. I delighted in watching Sean work to make Eden see that she was beautiful, and not just on the inside. It was just one of the many aspects of their romance that made me sigh with pleasure as I read.
Though Touch Me is the fifth story in the Sexplorations sextet, each book has been written to stand on its own. Nevertheless, the foundation of this series is the friendship between the women and that friendship, I am happy to say, plays an important role in Eden’s story. One of the most endearing things about the Sexplorations series is that it is about love not only in the romantic sense, but between friends who have become sisters of the heart, and Touch Me is a perfect example of that.
By turns romantic, sensual, heartwarming, and humorous, Touch Me only becomes more enchanting with each read. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve re-read this story and have fallen in love not only with Sean and Eden’s romance, but the friendship between the Sexplorations heroines. In the end, I can say nothing more than I Joyfully – eagerly – Recommend this tale.
Sean comes to Eden's store for help after being Injured. He takes one look at Eden he wants more, talking to her he falls for her. He just has to convince her since she's never had a lover that "took care" of her. This is a short book that felt like I was in the middle of a series. It was still enjoyable but it made me stop to go look to see if that was the case. It wasn't as far as I could tell. This is the first time I've read anything by the author. I would except for it seems like most of her books are historical. I read this through the KU program.
I really, really enjoyed reading this story... right up until the book just ends. Out of the blue, just ended. I kept flipping pages and saying WTF. It didn’t have an ending, let alone a happily ever after or happily for now. Everything was going great, until ... I’m actually pissed, it’s not a good way to end a book with a reader really unhappy only because of the lack of any ending, and forget about my love of HEAs. The ending or lack there of, is where the 4 stars left.
A sweet, steamy and funny read about Eden who's a writer and the owner of a new age store, whose editor seems to think she needs to spice up her sex scenes in her books. Enter Sean Rafferty, a biker/physics professor that takes it upon himself to show her how sexy she is. Told in a dual point of view that's a nice read packed in a novella. I'm voluntarily reviewing this after receiving a free copy.
It’s not that Eden lacked something, it’s that she had not found something special. When the right man with the touch she needed brought forth seduction, she knew she was a goner. Way to catch my eye! A group of support friends encouraging her to let loose and a man who knew what she needed and how to please. What else was missing? Enjoyed this amusing, steamy hot and suggestive short story with an end that left me eager for more.
