Absolutely essential reading for the year-end or start. This is actually a workbook that one of my favorite mentors designed himself, so use it! Don't miss his book and film suggestions at the end...

Excellent one! I wish I can make this year fantastic. Feeling myself lucky to have found this at the exact new year's moment.
"The great tragedy of life is not poverty or hunger or even death. The great tragedy is that we could, but we don’t; we should, but we won’t." - Daren Hardy (Design Your Best Year Ever)
Requires a lot of hard work, time and thinking but really powerful. I'm a big fan of Darren Hardy. If you're committed to putti g in the effort I'd highly recommend this. I've hit 2 of the 3 goals I set and am working towards the last one.
An amazing step by step plan on how to set goals and then go about finishing them. It gives you the tools in which to see where you are and how to improve. I highly recommend this book.
I actually started and finished this book today, and I think the timing could not have been more perfect!
I am a former and future subscriber to Success Magazine, and am reading through The Compound Effect a second time in a personal development book club, and am HUGE fans of both!
Since it is not even noon, and I read this book today, it is clearly not a LONG or difficult book, but I do not think that should even remotely take away from its value.
I do want to add that I read it today as an overview, but that I fully plan to work through the workbook parts later or tomorrow, and to use the guide throughout 2014, which is going to be my BEST YEAR EVER!
Hardy describes this book as the summative work of thousands of dollars spent on his own personal development, and I must agree. Most of what I read, I've seen in other sources (either his, his mentors', or his colleagues), and I am excited to have it in a simple, easy-to-work-through format just in time to use it as a blueprint for the new year. I strongly recommend it!
Got a chance to read (and finish) this book on the drive home from our family vacation. It's a quick read and the last half of the book is space for you to actually design your best year ever. The information in this book is so valuable and I can't wait to see where this year, along with what I've learned from Darren Hardy, takes me.
