It has a lot but poor specifics and it's strange by the flower color which is the worst. If you are using plants for medicine and don't know more ID beyond flower color you are putting yourself in danger. A family system and an easy pictorial key would make this useful.

Good reference but I really wish the font was just a bit larger.

The redeeming quality to this book is that it has actual photos of all the plants. Unfortunately, it is more lore than science. It also assumes that you already are familiar with basic preparation of wild plants. No step-by-step illustrations about how to prepare and eat.

Too much lore instead of facts. I don't want to know what the indians used this or that plant for. I want more scientifically based info. Not going to borrow this one from the library again.
