For THE RECORD, Bill's book is laugh out loud funny. How could it not be as Bill is funny--have you seen him perform? Maybe you do need to be Italian or from North Jersey or New York, but I know what Bill is talking about, "Come with me to the water fountain so I can wash the pots." Some kind of wise guy? Actually, Bill is a kind and thoughtful person--so don't believe everything you read, but do read his book, one short chapter at a time and read it s-l-o-w-l-y to make it last longer. Bob loved it, too.

Great collection of well-written, delightful stories by articulate, hysterical newspaperman Bill Ervolino. One of the few books that I take with me wherever I am, just in case I find myself in need of a good chuckle.
