Rate this book
Fourteen authors come together to bring you their vision of horror in Dark: A Horror Anthology. Many of the iconic creatures of horror's history resurface in fresh and innovative ways-zombies, werewolves, and chupacabras abound. There are plenty of new things to fear as well, a broken world, a myth of the murky depths, and a knife that cuts twice. Whatever your favorite flavor may be there is an author in these pages that serves it up. Authors include: Matt R. Jones, Bryan Wolford, Casey Criswell, J.P. Moore, Keith Latch, Sal Cipriano, Desmond Reddick, Sean Keller, Dezi Sienty, Cassandra Thomas, Blake M. Petit, Corey Graham, Derek M. Koch, and Steve Wands.

Loved the book. I must say that the story that stuck with me the most was the entry by Casey Criswell, "Deep Lies the Murky Floor"

I didn’t really like this book. The stories weren’t scary and there was a lot of typos in it.

As with most anthologies you have some stories that are not so great, and some that are great. Sometimes, they wind up being a little heavily sided one way or another. That is not necessarily a bad thing unless it is heavy on the not so greats. This anthology finds a nice balance. Now, I'm not saying it is 50% NSG vs G, not by any means. No, what I am saying is it is an all around great book. If you are a fan of the horror anthology you owe it to yourself to add this anthology to your library.
