Reckless Abandon

Rate this book

Chastity Sawyer, the ultimate "good girl," has lived the perfect life attending perfect schools, taking on the perfect job, and getting engaged to the perfect man. But when she discovers her fiancé is only marrying her for her money and her name, she decides that all that perfection is not a good thing after all. She yearns to be bad, and where better to do that but the hottest BDSM club in the city, Reckless Abandon?

Unrepentant satyr Jordan Fitzpatrick is in total control of his life. He has his lover Marcus, who understands him and takes care of his every want and need. He has a thriving business on the bad side of town, an exclusive fetish club called Reckless Abandon. He has a kick ass penthouse in an exclusive building with the enticing name of Sixty-Nine West. Now, if his deepest, fondest wish could come true his life would be perfect. He wants his snooty, goody-two-shoes neighbor Chastity Sawyer naked, collared and needy, on her knees before him.

Chastity soon realizes that she wants and craves both Jordan's dominant mastery and Marcus's nurturing care. But can she learn to relinquish control and live a life of reckless abandon?

Morgan has been a writer since she was first able to pick up a pen. In the beginning it was a hobby, a way to create a world of her own, and who could resist the allure of that? Then as she grew and matured, life got in the way, as life often does. She got married and had three children, and worked in the field of accounting, for that was the practical thing to do and the children did need to be fed. And all the time she was being practical, she would squirrel herself away on quiet Sunday afternoons, and write.

Most children are raised knowing the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule. Morgan’s children also learned the Paper Rule: thou shalt not throw out any paper that has thy mother’s words upon it.

Believing in tradition, Morgan ensured that her children’s children learned this rule, too.

Life threw Morgan a curve when, in 2002, she underwent emergency triple by-pass surgery. Second chances are to be cherished, and with the encouragement and support of her husband, Morgan decided to use hers to do what she’d always dreamed of doing: writing full time. “I can’t tell you how much I love what I do. I am truly blessed.”

Morgan has always loved writing romance. It is the one genre that can incorporate every other genre within its pulsating heart. Romance showcases all that human kind can aspire to be. And, she admits, she’s a sucker for a happy ending.

Morgan’s favorite hobbies are reading, cooking, and traveling – though she would rather you didn’t mention that last one to her husband. She has too much fun teasing him about having become a “Traveling Fool” of late.

Morgan lives in Southwestern Ontario with a cat that has an attitude, a dog that has no dignity, and her husband of thirty-six years, David.

Chastity - who names their child this name? It's just asking for trouble. Chastity is rudely awaken to the fact that her fiance is an asshole. Getting rid of his punk ass, she explores her wild side. This light bdsm story is fun and with two hot guys to the mix. The fact that the two guys have a relationship with each other too makes it even hotter. I good read for those who like a bit of kink to their story.

Aww what a missed opportunity. Got this book at Bookstrand’s Time Machine Sale for 0.99$ and finally got to read it. There were 2 men who’s in a romantic relationship Jordan and Marcus and then there was poor innocent Chastity.. yep what kinda name is Chastity??! Anyway, I just felt it was rushed and not a lot of moments and interactions between Chastity and Marcus, it was only Jordan…though that park scene was hawt😝

Btw why must all erotica book covers be these… unattractive??!

I think, if the book was lengthened a bit, then Morgan could’ve done more? But still a good and enjoyable read. \(^.^)/

Oh boy another good author

There wasn't anything I dislike about this book. I don't do spoilers per se but I didn't like her grandmother at all. And I was excited from the first page. Another happy sexy read with love thrown in.

The only thing that gets me is that Kindle can't compute reading time. I always take the time and cut it in half.

Short, but sweet

This story packs a lot is not so many pages. Characters and theme is introduced early. Not much to wait for except how the bad guy gets his and that is the briefest of moments. Wished for an epilogue, but that's what imagination is for. Happy reading. Huggs

The h is hurt by ex, wants to be different/better than she was with him. So she goes to a BDSM club and meets owner, he is a Dom, her neighbour and in a relationship with male sub. They all get together too easily. I wanted to see them work harder at their every day arrangements. It was OK.

I loved this book. Chastity blossoms and Jordan and Marcus help her move forward and away from her fiance. Can't wait to read the next book in the series. (Wish there were more...)

This has been on my self for awhile. I put it off thinking it would not be as good as the Lusty series. I was so glad to be proven wrong.
