Ben knew there would never be a mate for him. No one in his or her right mind would want to be shackled with a man with no tenderness, no gentleness, and certainly no kindness. He didn't even know what those emotions were anymore. They were stripped from him, along with a good portion of his sanity. Ben has nothing to offer a mate, and he knows it. When huge sky blue eyes peek out at him from under strawberry blond hair at a Wolf Mating party, Ben can't deny his fascination, or his need to claim Stefan as his mate. But Stefan comes with a lot of baggage. According to vampire law, he's been given away by his brother to Dane, the brother of Stefan's best friend, Audley. In exchange, Audley has been given to Stefan's brother. The problem? Audley and Stefan are both Ben's mates. When Stefan and Audley are kidnapped, Ben and their friends race to save them. Can Ben survive long enough to save his mates, or will his worst nightmare come true? Can Stefan and Audley overcome their fears long enough to save their mate, or will they lose him forever?
About Me I believes the only thing sexier than a man in cowboy boots is two, or three men in cowboy boots. I also believes in love at first sight, soul mates, true love, and happy endings.
I live in the great Northwest region of the USA, with my gorgeous husband and soul mate, two boxer/collie puppies, one old biddy cats, and three fish. When I'm not being a mother to my six teenagers or cleaning up after my two 70 pound lap puppies, you can usually find me cuddled in bed with a book in my hand and a puppy in my lap. Or on my laptop, creating the next sexy man for one of my stories.

What do I do ? I'm a writer of erotic, paranormal, werewolf, futuristic, contemporary, gay, and Ménage a Trois romances. I'm currently published with Siren Publishing, Torquere Press, and Noble Ellora's Cave.
I almost didn't finish this one; sheer perseverence won out, because I hate not finishing a novel. Long and short, the characters are all 2-dimensional, they all blend into each other, and they all talk too much. At first Ben is greatly defined as a quiet man, supposedly incapable of loving. And yet, fifteen pages in [less?] he is calling Stefan 'baby,' professing he can't live without him, etc etc. Stefan is first introduced as being timid and scared, and yet when given a chance he kind of becomes cheeky and sunshiny. Which is fine, really. But then in comes Audley - wounded, terrified, clinging to any semblance of safety he can find ... who apparently becomes just as cheeky and is brave enough to stand up and talk back to his brother [who has abused him for a lifetime] after only a week or two with Ben and Stefan.
This is AFTER they've all professed their undying love, and they've run into absolutely no conflict between the three of them. It was just ... typical Stormy Glenn. Shallow, with wishy-washy characters, way too much talking, too much of the sudden mushy-lovey-dovey with boo-boo nicknames, and plots that are grabbed hold of, rushed through, and then tossed aside without much thought to true conflict and attachment.
Sadly I wish her writing and style would mature, and quickly; she has such great ideas, but such horrible follow-through.
This book really did it for me and in every which way, shape and form. So check this out: You have Ben who's this big buff of a wolf whose mate are Stephan and Audley that although the age tells you otherwise, they pass as two fekking adorable blond-haired twinks that standing beside Ben they look like dwarfs in comparison. Although small, slim and slight and stature it doesn't take them much to bring the big wolf to heel in wanting them both. They sure make the old dog able to learn new tricks. :snickering:
Stephan and Audley's older brothers think to swap them their younger siblings for each other, but not on Ben's watch and man oh man do they make the biggest mistake ever my abducting the two and one other to which I will not name (cause you'll have to read it to find out) and pisses off a wolf that you don't want to do a tango with unless you were his mate yourself.
The best part of this book for me was that the final battle between brothers vs wolves was the major action scene. It wasn't a quick fix, quick death and the winner takes all, you know like slice and dice and it's over. Hell no! The final fight was drawn out, detailed and truly unbelievable. There's pages of it that you won't be disappointed in reading.
Extraordinary story for me.

Like in the other Wolf Creek stories, the characters really make it come alive. Unlike the other stories with three partners, in this one it takes a while for the third mate to enter the scene.
I liked Stefan's and Audley's resilience in the face of overwhelming odds against them. They are both vampires, so it was interesting to see them as the physically weaker partners in the triad. Ben is a werewolf and clearly the physically strongest of the three, but he is emotionally vulnerable - and actually gets beaten up pretty badly as well. Twice.
I thought this story was a refreshing look at not only the dynamics in a threesome but also the power play between vampires and werewolves. The whole Wolf Pack series is great and I wish there was another volume coming up, but this one feels kind of final. I hope I'm wrong!
I'm giving every book in this series two stars because they're badly written and the characters are all obnoxious clichés, but the story is interesting enough for me to want to find out what happens in the next one.
One very large werewolf never knowing love of any kind finding it within 2 frighten young vamps also looking for love. Really Great story!! With another great funny kitchen scene. I thought the last one in this series was the best, now this one is right up there, in a diff. way. IMO.
While I have loved all the previous Wolf Creek Pack books I found this book was a big disappointment for me. I was expecting Ben to be rough and tough after reading the blurb but as soon as he finds his mate Stefan he turns into a lovesick teddy bear practically straight away which seemed out of character to me.
Also, after having their twisted plans for their brothers thwarted I expected a showdown much earlier in the story than the last quarter.
The rest of the book was just one sex scene after another ad nauseum which got very boring.
When we finally got to the action in the last quarter my enjoyment of the book picked up considerably as this part got quite exciting and interesting because all the tough alpha characters kept getting knocked out which was a bit of a twist.
I did like the characters Stormy created especially Stefan who was a bit of a pistol and lots of fun.
My disappointment in this book in no way means that I won't read any more of Stormy's books. In fact I am looking forward to many more books from Stormy Glenn.

Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! I knew Ben's story was going to be a good one simply because of the small glimpses I had already seen of him in prior books. Ben is a giant teddy bear at heart. Stefan and Audley desperately need that. And Ben needs mates that love him unconditionally.
This is my favorite of the series. I really enjoyed this book it has just enough humor, mixed in with the romance and the supernatural to keep my attention. I would recommend this to any M/M or M/M/M fan. Can't wait for the next book!
Re-read and review: 28/08/2020 This book has the better review classification in the series and i don't know why. The book for me is a good but not that good. Ben is a soldier in the pack and thinks never will have a mate because is too big and too scary. Yet he isn't domineering like Joe or Reece and this is great. He has two mates. Both are vampires. Unfortunate for the series both of his mates are smaller than him (ok this is easy even Joe and Reece are), but his mates are a bit of the same character from Nate and Reece. Stefan and Audley are both more meek and submissive. Stefan is a bit more forward, but not much. After book 4 and 5 i think that this is a downgrade in the series. It's a meh book. Don't bad enough to be mad and don't good enough for care about.
I guess a guy gets no choice in being claimed or not. If no fated mate is right there this second he is fair game to anyone else and has no say in the matter? Huh. How strange. Yay for authors making things up just for the occasion they need a plot device, to ignore it otherwise. (Ben later pretending that Stefan agreed with the mating does not help. The guy had no time to react in any way before being bitten &c.)
Also, a simple mating bite now results in a vampire being unable to drink from anyone else, apparently. I wonder if this would have applied to the evil Dane and Oliver as well. Somehow I don’t think so. No more mention of the special kind of bond needed for this until much later. Oh well.
Also! How come Stefan never recognized Audley as his mate? When he meets Ben it crashes all over him and he realizes this is what others were talking about. Do only big buff guys rate here?
What I really want to know is why Stefan and Audley didn’t simply claim each other. Both would be emancipated as soon as they were mated to someone, anyone, even each other, and thus they’d be free from their brothers. Easy peasy. Really, the plot holes in this one are huge enough to lose a planet or two inside.
Or even, why did Stefan never ask his prince for help or his best buddy, the prince’s consort? We do know he had plenty opportunity. This is all really stupid.
And oh hey, while we’re on it. How does it work if two vampires mate and they can only drink from each other? Where do those nutrients come from? What about evaporation? And this is only if you assume they can survive on swapping the same supply of blood around continuously. Ew.
“I’ve never had money. Oliver did not let me have any.” Except Oliver’s only been in charge for a few months at this point and he was not around much before, according to Stefan in an earlier book. Besides, Stefan pretty much used to live with the prince. And seeing how his brother is older than Zacarius, i.e. older than five-hundred years, I wonder just how old that makes Stefan… Admittedly, they’re only stepbrothers, not blood related, but it still brings up a few questions about Stefan’s parentage, ages, and time.
It is a little disconcerting to read about a triad without really meeting or mentioning the third person for ages (almost half the book). And even when he is mentioned it’s in such an offhand way that I don’t see Stefan caring all that much about his friend. Certainly not enough to suggest any kind of mate attraction. It’s more like, once Stefan has been safe for a while, he thinks it’s kind of a shame his old friend is still in the sort of bad situation he himself escaped from, so maybe someone should do something about it. Meh.
Once the three get together Audley does not even get that much more screen time, as it were. His POV segments are few and far between. Plus his relationship with the other two seems mostly about sex. Ben, I’m looking at you especially. Thinking you can’t wait to “try out your new mate”? Seriously? From Stefan towards Audley all I get is the friends with benefits vibe as well.
Yeah, not much of a triad.
Admittedly, Audley does get his moment towards the end. The associated action sequence isn’t too bad, which makes up for a lot of what went before.
Still. I am not exactly thrilled with this volume.
When reviewing, I try to keep in mind an author's purpose in writing that book. Some books are intended to be cheesy easy good fun requiring no thought = brain candy. Typically they are quick, formulaic, serial, and come from highly prolific authors. My ratings are based against others of that m/m type.
This, by far, was barely average brain candy. In fairness, I may have slightly higher expectations for Ms. Glenn. I have read some stuff from her that I've really liked. But, I do not think that is it. The plot was basic with nothing unique or to make it stand out from others. There was no world building or set up. The characters were not developed. They were described (not shown) to be one way; then acted completely another. The story did not flow well in multiple places - 2 examples that I feel I can give without spoilers are: 1st, 1 mate gets all defensive defending another. I understand the implied reason for it, but after reading several pages back, that lead up to this scene (more than once) - I still do not see the actual cause for it. I kept thinking I missed a conversation or comment. 2nd, there is no explanation or reason given for why or how the bad guys were even free to come after the mates. There were multiple editing / proofing errors - including prior character connections and typos with completely wrong words. All the editing issues were made more glaring, since I was never drawn into the story or the characters. I could go on, but you get the idea.
This is gonna sound weird, but I liked the fact that the big, strong, scary main character wasn't invincible. He got hurt, pretty badly too. It's nice to not see strict adherence to the "alpha male riding to the rescue" formula. All the alpha males got the crap kicked out of them at one point or another.
I also liked how Stefan and Audley were written. They had limitations that they didn't necessarily overcome but instead worked within.
I don't even know if any of this makes sense or is coherent. Perhaps I shouldn't review when I'm tired. :)

typical stormy glenn romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical stormy glenn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
laziness dictates i will use this as my template for all books by the following authors unless a book is remarkably good/bad : stormy glenn lynn hagen scarlet hyacinth joyee flynn carol lynne gabrielle evans
The author seems lazy, it's not original at all, really predictable. It's pretty much only sex until one little kidnapping dealt in a few minutes. And then it's sex again.
I expected more character development with Ben, the big bad wolf, but he just became a big Teddy bear after his encounter with Stefan.
Meh. I recommend it for people who wants a fluffy easy read.
This is my favorite book in this series. Big Ben and his vamp mates is a terrific story. I loved the return of Stefan from Blood Prince as Ben's "little mate". The Wolf Pack gang popping up here and there pulls this story together. I can't even begin to count the number of times I have re-read this tasty little treat.
I liked this book as a good continuation of the series =) But personally I still like the first books (1-3) more. Maybe because the vampires that lately appear in the books doesn't seem to be really my cup of tea. I don't fully understand this type of vamps. Can't wait for the next book =)))
He spotted a pocket knife sticking out of the pocket of Ben’s pants. He grabbed it and launched himself at Oliver’s back, sinking it in as deep as he could where Oliver’s heart should have been.
THIRD TIME THAT THIS PLOT POINT IS USED!

Guilty pleasure read again. Stormy has me hooked on these. This one has my fave kind of guy--big, beefy, scarred and in need of serious loving. Luckily he has 2 vampire mates to provide it in many many sexy ways :)
3.5 stars. Ben is supposed to be the biggest and the baddest wolf in the Wolf Creek pack and yet he was constantly getting the crap beat out of him. Don't change a characters personality simply to forward a storyline.
Классная задумка - два твинка и здоровый воин. Менаж и начало отличное, но к концу начинаются такие глупости, что хотела дать три, но все-таки тема моя любимая, поэтому прощаю, но перечитывать и советовать не буду.
A few mistakes regarding names. In Wolf Creek #4 Zac's manservant was Alfred, but in this one he's called Albert yet it's the same man, same servant. Very confusing.
