This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the original. Due to its age, it may contain imperfections such as marks, notations, marginalia and flawed pages. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions that are true to the original work.
The formatting of the book does make it hard to read at times. I was able to look past the formatting to understand parts about Moliere and his plays. At times the author seems to wish he was a poet too instead of just telling the facts of Moliere's life. There were also issues with chronological story telling, such as Moliere's death would be mentioned and then another of his plays would be talked about and all is good and then it is back to him being unwell. I did gather that Moliere was a hard worker and put his all into is work and cared about those around him.
