A wacky pictorial variant on the young person's guide to the orchestra. Max the elephant loves playing musical instruments, and he drives his father mad with the noise - but then, when he stops, everyone misses his playing. The book ends with a huge, triumphant orchestra of Max and his friends.

Big colorful eye catching illustration for young children. This book is a good read for introduction to music with young children. The young children are exposed to the importance of social emotional development and play. This books is about different instruments and the loudness of these instrument. The book touches on our listening senses and the effects that young children can have on other senses while playing instruments.

The life and times of a child savant, and the community that came to appreciate and support him. :) The opposite of Kraus' Leo the Late Bloomer.
