Marie Evergreen was born to a military family in San Diego, California. Soon after her birth her family was transferred to Scotland. So began her travels around the world and the United States. She has lived in two countries and eight states. She now resides in Northern Colorado with her husband, two children and many animals.

Marie has been writing since she was a child, always letting her imagination run away with her. Always having a tenacious personality, she has taken challenges of people who would say "You can't do that" and said "Watch me."

In her "spare" time, she loves to quilt, bake, garden, read, and homeschool her children.

Don’t trust anyone, but you get a gut feeling to trust a few people. If you enjoy telenovelas (reference: Jane the Virgin), easy time travel, and a variety of locations and historical references, this might be a good pick for you. The ending definitely had a telenovela twist.
