The Evolution Angel

Rate this book
R. Todd Michael was medical director of a level-three trauma center when he had his own brush with death before being saved by the voice of an angel. In this collection of true stories from the emergency room, Dr. Michael relates his experiences with dying patients and the angels that invariably attend these critical rites of passage. Eventually he began communicating with an angel who was sent to aid us in our human evolution. Evolution, as described in The Evolution Angel, is "a quantum leap, a jump to a completely new and higher level of being." What exactly is that higher level of being, and how do we achieve it? The "Evolution Angel" provides fascinating lessons, wisdom, and insight into turning our human journey into one where we can not only communicate with the Spirit World, but we can access this otherworldly wisdom in our lives at any moment. Answering questions about the purpose of our lives, life after death, and the nature of our soul, this astounding book has already changed countless lives of those who have heard this in-demand speaker, or read his self-published edition that has sold thousands. Inspirational, poignant, and wise, The Evolution Angel is a guide for everyone who wants to learn about living at the highest level, and is curious about what happens to the soul after we die.

I am currently reading this book for the third time. The first time I was reading it I had just had a hysterectomy and as I was coming home from the hospital I found that one of my shih taught dogs had end-stage leukemia. As I started to read the book, I was compelled to just Read more and more it was like I was obsessed. What I took away from the book that time prepared me for when my loving little shih tzu passed away in my arms. The next time I started to read it, I was caring for my mother just this past year, 2016. She had a mild stroke which threw her into dementia do wish you could live alone anymore. I learned so much from my mother but it was so parallel to the book as far as my mother crossing over slowly. The second time I walked away from the book with all other new learnings from it. I'm currently on the third time around, and again I'm picking different things up and absorbing the information in different ways I really believe that as I have read this book 3 different times that I'm picking up new information because I'm rising in my spiritual level and more things make sense to me. This is definitely a must read book. I purchased the second book for my mother to read of Tod's but Mom could absorb The information. That is my next venture thank you Todd.

I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about this book, but I read it anyway. It has a few "yeah, right" moments, but it also has some really interesting views of what happens after death. The questions the author poses are some that I have often wanted to ask God. Whether or not you believe that the answers were given by a Divine Messenger, there is a good deal of truth in the message itself.

I have mixed feelings about this book. Some parts just don’t ring true and there is something I can’t put my finger on that just bugs me about the whole presentation.

And, at the same time, some parts do ring very true and I also get the feeling the author is being sincere and that he does genuinely want to help people and the entire world by performing this service.

So, I think the value in a book like this lies in the way that it strikes the reader at the moment it falls to them. And, in any case, the topic of angels and of life beyond this realm and so forth is of great importance for human consideration so there is a great positive in broaching that conversation.

For me it was kind of a mixed bag. I read it because a metaphysical book club I am in was reading it, so I’m glad I did, to be able to discuss with the group but I don’t think this is a book I would have picked up on my own.

I found this book fascinating. It’s an ER doctor and his extensive conversations with a spiritual messenger, as well as shorter snippets of conversations with people right after their spirit leaves their body at death. There were a couple of parts that were a tiny bit strange, but the vast majority sat really well with me and nestled in perfectly with a lot of what I already believe. One thing I did not love, was the messenger seemed kind of condescending at times and it got old. But that’s more of a personality thing than anything else.

I've started this book three times, first with a borrowed copy, then returned and restartedwith my own, now finally finishing it because someone borrowed my (1st) copy and didn't return it.
So, now nearly three years later, I struggled to get to the last page when the tale changed themes and became just another hook into religious mythology.
Don't get me wrong, there isuch truth to be had here, but it can be found in many other similar titles or simply within oneself with the proper guide. And it is a quick read, if you care to invest yourself fully for a sitting or two.

Cannot stress enough how this reinforces this former (recovering) Fundamentalist heart, about how Baptists have it all wrong.
Intrinsically proactive writer captures Souls essence and conversations as they pass out of earthly vessel to Spirit. No hell, no darkness, only light. Yes. Read it! Author has vids on Youtube that align nicely with book.

This is a life changing book for me. If you want to evolve spiritually in quantum leap...this works. But through the recent darkness and despair of my life was I ready to receive the message wholly in its entirety. Did it answer all my questions...No! I have many more. But there is a grace that is felt in the heart through the truths in this book. It is a humble book...an easy read...great if you need simplicity....but within that simplicity...a great magnitude of infinite wisdom.

Just not buying his story at all. I do believe in the power to communicate with the other side, but I didn't really grow to believe him. Like, at all. Then I learned that he has essentially stopped practicing medicine and now charges exorbitant fees to give presentations about talking to the dead. I'm not totally sure where my cynicism has come from, but my gut instinct while reading this and since then, tells me it's not worth your money.

Thanks to Todd Michael for sharing these experiences with us. This is a great book. Insightful and probing it asks and answers questions that many are uncomfortable with or unready for. By relating these conversations in a straightforward way it makes for an easy read thereby allowing one to concentrate on the material which is excellent. Well done indeed.
