The book Cracked by: Michele Bossley is a realistic fiction book that i believe should have earned its true four stars because the way it is worded to make lots of suspicion, major mysteries, and big turns throughout the whole book. The main characters including Josh, Ramsey, Nick, Courtney, and Robyn all try to solve a big problem in the beginning. This mostly takes place in the bobsledding park as well as the school. The story was all about a crash that happened and the group of people I explained earlier trying to figure how it happened. All though there was assumptions of who it was that caused this all, at the end the problem gets solved. To really show you how what my opinion of the book really is true, in the text it says," Josh! Courtney screeched. The bobsled landed on it's side and skidded toward the final turn". i feel that the example really does give you how intense the book can really get. This book can be confusing a little at times but overall is very detailed and I believe people 10-14 should read this. Also the book was published in 2007 so the book is kind of old but very good.
I think it was a really good story, it was about kids who worked together to solve a mystery to help one of their brothers. Their brother was framed for sabotaging someone on a bobsled during practice, apparently it was pretty bad because they got the police involved and the person riding the bobsled was injured. Josh, one of the students brother, says there was nothing wrong with the bobsled when he was riding it and says he didn't sabatoge the other rider. The police don't know what happened, but tell josh that he's not allowed on park grounds and is banned for a few days. The kids don't think it was him, so late nights they would stay at the part and try to find clues.
I really enjoyed reading the novel Cracked. As each chapter went by in the novel, I wanted to read another one. I was really interested in this novel and I wanted to read more because I was inching closer to finding out who framed Josh. My favorite part about this novel is the note that was found. I liked when the note was found because it gave clues to not only the characters in the novel, but the reader. I was able to figure out some of the clues hidden in the note but not all of the clues.
The story CRACKED written by Michele Martin Bossley was and amazing book. One reason this book was great is that when a problem was going on it was like a realistic problem that could happen to anyone. Another reason why this book was good is because the characters were greatly describe in the beginning of the book when some of the characters were introduce.
