Kate Hancock is the oldest girl in a family of seven children (all of whom she adores). Currently, she's a purple belt in Karate, an English teacher (for a younger sibling), a dreamer, a lover of stuffed animals, and (of course) a writer. Kate has been writing since she was a little girl and would even publish her own books (colored construction paper cover and pages tied together with fuzzy pink yarn). She has such a hard time writing short stories because there are so many details to add. Besides writing, Kate adores reading, and very much enjoys reading Minnie 'n Me, The Best Friends Collection to her youngest sister.
