Summary: This is a non-fiction children's book that discusses numerous categories within astronomy. The author touches on how to skywatch, some of the different kinds of eclipses, why the sky changes, the sun, moon, and stars, and more! Response: This book is a great way to learn more about all the different categories within astronomy. I like how to author separates astronomy into twenty-two categories but only spends two pages discussing each one. I think helps the reader digest the information in sections and with more intention. Application: I think this book is a great resource to learn more about astronomy and the categories within it. As a teacher, you could use this book during a lesson about the sky, stars, and/or planets. This book is a great way to deepen students' knowledge of astronomy as a whole, the planets, the sky, stars, and how to observe these things.
Within this book students get a detailed explanation of space equipment such as telescopes and binoculars. The book explains that we can use these tools to observe the night sky and changing sky. Also within the book it goes through a detailed explanation of the planets in order from the sun. Giving students multiple fun facts about each planet. Lastly book gives a detailed explanation of the constellations and where they can be spotted depending on the point in the year.
I would use this book in a 5th grade classroom, during the study of planets. I will provide it to students so they can draw their model of our galaxy properly and accurately using specific details from the book.
"Astronomy" in its entirety is great for a young reader interested in space. The headings, large font, and double-page spread images make learning achievable for new readers. The maps and real-life images contribute to bringing this book to life, which part of what makes it so great. My favorite topic the book covers is "starting skywatching," which teaches the reader about binoculars and the best way to use them, as well as when and where is best to be watching the sky from. The glossary and index located in the back of the book provide guidance for definitions and all the topics covered. There are four double-page spreads of maps of the sky from different hemispheres and times of the year to help provide a full understanding of our night sky.
Referensi kecil belajar astronomi untuk anak-anak. Bahasanya mudah dicerna, gambar & fotonya sangat membantu.
I love how this book is so informational and colorful for children to get hooked on knowing more about the world around them. This book has a glossary of the chapters that are included in the book. This book touches on almost everything you need to know about space and astronomy.
The book is a Information because it tells you about space, telescopes, binoculars and how you use them. I like the book because I like to learn about space and all that's in it. It tells you about things from stars and planets to telescopes and binoculars.
