Even though he's a little old for it, this book is a hit with Squirt. He can relate - he wants to sweep and clean and help me too, and he likes to point out what Coco is doing. At the end when the book asks "Do you like to help too?" Squirt always says, "Yes, please!" like to melt my heart.

Pretty sure this one was meant for my brother, because unlike him I'm not all that interested in helping mama or daddy unload the dishwasher, unpack groceries or pick up my toys. The pics and colors are pretty muted, but mama likes the big handwritten type font. I know there's a good lesson in here somewhere, but I wasn't really into this. 🎽👖

I like the depiction of chores and Coco doing helpful things around the house. I wish his parents were doing chores beside him instead of being busy and ignoring him, though. That made me sad on the first page!
