In 1946 Stuttman and Company published Hazel and Julius Rockow’s book “Creative Home Decorating.” This edition was illustrated by Robert Curry. The book I read included the 1946 release and a 90 page 1953 updated text with illustrations entitled “Creative Home Decorating Trends.” The Rockows’ book was used by my Dad in his home maintenance “side business.”” He received the book as a gift from a family friend in 1971. This family book has color coordination maps for all for room types. The maps include walls, ceilings, floors, furnishings, and accessories. It also has room sketching maps, wonderful pictures, and many do-don’t recommendations. (P)
