Ruben Eliassen is an Norwegian author and illustrator, with experience from advertising and music industry. He's most known for the Phenomena books.

His first book Phenomena: Profetines utvalgte won 2 awards, Arks barnebokpris and Kirke- og Kulturdepartementets debutantpris.

I picked this book because one of my friends from elementary school said it was one of the best books he had ever read. I liked the whole story, the theme, and everything else in the book was great too. I didn't like the ending that much because the author didn't answer a lot of questions in the book. The next book I will look for is a book with action. I'm thinking of reading the next book in the series. I recommend this book to everybody.

A great book for fantasy lovers.. but this was the last(and my favorite) of the books I read, the only reason for that is the series stopped for a while in Norway. So I was simply not happy with stopping reading books just to wait for the next one. So I started another project with books and thus forgot this series. But who knows, maybe I'll buy and read the next one soon.

As a kid it was the best fantasy series i knew about besides Harry Potter! Now that I'm more grown up (not much though) it's still a good book but not as epic as it used to be.
