was soll ich sagen - auf meiner liste der personen, die ich gerne persönlich gekannt hätte, steht sie ganz weit oben. eine bewundernswerte frau, die ohne emanzipationsgewäsch ihren platz gefunden hat und nicht nur beiwerk war. es ist wunderbar, ihren nordischnüchternen erzählungen über ihr leben "zu lauschen". und es erdet einen... lediglich der herr beckmann nervt ein wenig.

A very nice book, where the wife of the former german cancellor Helmut Schmidt, Loki, tells about her life, her thoughts. Very impressing and informative. Should be read by everyone who is intersted in Germany and its recent history.

Loki Schmidt war eine tolle Frau und hatte etwas zu erzählen, Beckmanns Fragetechnik nervt aber zunehmend!
