દાદાએ લખેલ 16 જેટલી અદભૂત કથાઓ કે જેમાં બ્રહ્માંડની ઉત્પતિ અને સંચાલન અંગેના આપણી પ્રાચીન પુરાણોમાં જે વિસ્મયકારક વર્ણનો છે એમની વાતો, આકાશી આકૃતિઓ અને પૌરાણિક ચિત્રો સાથે આલેખાયેલ છે.

About the author

Dhruv Bhatt was born on 8 May 1947 in Ningala village of Bhavnagar State (now Bhavnagar district, Gujarat) to Prabodhray Bhatt and Harisuta Bhatt. He studied at various places, standard 1 to 4 at Jafrabad and Matriculation from Keshod. After studying commerce for two years, he left further studying[1] in 1972 and joined Gujarat Machine Manufacturers as Sales Supervisor. He voluntary retired and started writing career.[2]

His novel Akoopar has been adapted into a play directed by Aditi Desai.[3] Tattvamasi was adapted into the 2018 Gujarati film Reva.[4]

અંતરિક્ષની જાણી - અજાણી અદ્ભુત દુનિયા વિશે લખાયેલ એક અદ્ભુત પુસ્તક. એક એક પન્ને તમને અચરજ પમાડે તેવી તારાઓ, નક્ષત્રો, સૂર્ય, ચંદ્રો ની વાતો. એ પણ ખૂબ જ સહજ, સ-રસ અને સરળ રીતે યાદ રહી જાય તેમ કહેવાયેલી. આપણા પૂર્વજો, ઋષિ મુનિઓ અને પુરાણોના રચયિતા ઓ પ્રત્યે અહોભાવ ન થઈ આવે તો જ નવાઈ. અને ધ્રુવ દાદા, અહાહા, એમના આ એકદમ યુનિક કોન્સેપ્ટ પર તો આપણે ફિદા ફિદા.

એક મફત નું સજેશન: આ પુસ્તક ખરીદો, તો સાથે સાથે એક ટેલિસ્કોપ વસાવવાનું ન ભૂલતા.

પુસ્તક વાંચ્યા બાદ રાતનું આકાશ હવે વધુ નજીક અને જાણીતું લાગે છે. વિસ્મય તો થાય જ જ્યારે ભારતીય વાર્તા સાથે સામ્ય ધરાવતી અન્ય પ્રાચીન સંસ્કૃતિઓની કથા જાણવા મળે. રાત્રિનું આકાશ ગમાડતા દરેક વ્યક્ત માટે એક મિત્ર સરીખું પુસ્તક-'અંતરિક્ષના આગિયા'.

Stories associated with the celestial giants, and the writing style of Dhruv dada, that's the perfect combo! Thanks to this, if you knew Orion, now you would know Mrigashīrsha, and if you knew Devayani nakshatra, now you'd know Andromeda! I am sure it will awaken the curious inner child within you! Enjoy!

Dhruv Bhatt takes us on a journey of Indian and Greek myths and stories associated with stars and Nakstatras. We get one chapter for each month from Kartak (November) to Asho (October) . There are special chapters for Moon and 2 Dhruvs (Author himself and the star of the north). You become more aware of the sky. Yesterday , I tried to star gaze in Ahmedabad’s polluted sky 😅. I will see sky with different lens from now onwards. It’s like I know these stars personally now. Do you know M31 (Devyani), closest galaxy to Milky Way is going to collide with our galaxy. Don’t worry it isn’t going to happen soon.
Dhruv Bhatt can make you interested in things you never even cared about.

અંતરિક્ષના આગિયા
ધ્રુવ દાદાનું અંતરિક્ષની માલીકોર અદ્ભૂત દુનિયા વિશે લખાયેલ પુસ્તક. બાળપણમાં સાંભળેલા તારાઓના નામ જેવા કે સપ્તર્ષી, હૈરણું, ધ્રુવ તારો,વ્યાધ વગેરેને પૌરાણિક કથાઓ દ્વારા સાંકળીને એકદમ રસાળ શૈલીમાં યાદ રહે તેમ નકશા સાથે આપેલ છે, સાથે ગ્રીક કથાનો સમન્વય પણ લાજવાબ છે.

Must read for everyone specially for younger ones. Shows Dhruv Bhatt's deep knowledge of indian and greek mythology. His love for nature is visible in this book just like his other works.
