The Sergeant
Sergeant Amelia Harper finds more than she bargained for when she stumbles onto an illegal gun deal. She thinks she has arrested the main dealer, but instead she arrested ATF Agent Brandon Warren who is undercover in the gun runner’s organization. Now they now are working together to bring it down. He is undercover inside the organization, and she is working it from the outside. These two bring down more than the gun ring when emotions fly high, and they realize the passion and love that they have for each other.

Better, but also worse too
The spelling is better in this book than book one, and there are far less sentences that have mixed tenses, so this is an improvement from book one. However for the first half of the book Amelia and Brandon seem to only speak in exclamation! Which is a little overwhelming! And very weird.
There was far less of the team featured in this book, which was one of the positives of the last book, and at times the plot was a little far fetched, especially the 'Kingpin' when he was unveiled.
This book also finishes at 71%, a huge gripe for me, if I am at 70% in a book I expect to still have a large portion of the story left, not to have 29% (almost 1/3 of the book) padded with other info, teaser chapters, etc.
I read this on Kindle Unlimited but I won't be reading the next books in the series.

Amelia was out for coffee when she saw a gun sale gone and she arrested someone, only to find out he is undercover ATF.
Brandon was arrested by Amelia and then he told her he was ATF, she went and checked out who he said he was.
They end up working this case together as Amelia was undercover as a gun runner, so they are going to be a couple for this case.
They end up having feelings for each other, but before anything can happen they need to finish this case, but when Amelia is taken it's a race against time to find her.
Will Brandon find Amelia in time, so he can tell her how she feels.

The Sergeant was a great romance short story that is based on a detective and a sergeant that go undercover to bust up a gun ring. Brandon had been undercover for a while when Amelia arrested him and found out that he was undercover. Amelia decided that she would go undercover with him as his girlfriend. For this to happen they had to spend time together and get to know each other, spending so much time together pretending to date they started having real feelings and falling in love with each other.

This book has everything needed to make for an enjoyable read. IT moves along at a pace that is perfect for this story, has interesting characters that you want to know and you want to see them overcome everything that may be in their way and a story that will not disappoint and keep you interested and reading until the end. This is a book that needs to be read, no doubt about it.

Story line is okay but there was a lot of clerical errors. The Author needs a better proof reader.

The story was good but way to rushed and short. There were grammatical errors amd like I said way to short to develop the characters or any deep feelings . But a good story line .
