Knot All Is Omegaverse #4

Knot All is Ruined Part 2

Rate this book
They told us we’d be helping our country. That we’d be preventing war—but I have a different plan. One that won’t be a lie and will save Asturg… I’m gonna bring it all down.

With a taste of freedom, a pack who respected me, and the chance to never be a victim again I felt hope for the first time since coming to Asturg. I should have known better, it’s not in my cards to have the traditional happily ever after you read about in books. Not when the man whose mark I was branded with shows up to claim me for real.

I’m now bonded to the North with my heart in the South, both bitter enemies who’ve been at war for centuries. How could there ever be a chance of having the life and family I crave when they want to kill each other? Can the promise of ending the war and creating a new world be enough for two powerful Alphas to set aside their past to work together?

Probably not—but if it’s for the Omega they love anything is possible.

Yeah, no. Less than 24 hours after Lucien force-bonded and abducted Danella, she's on her back, begging him to fuck her harder. We're only at the second chapter, and I'm feeling ill and DNF-ing this shit.

It was bad enough in the book before this, when she was cuddling, kissing and enjoying oral with members of the new Southern pack mere days after escaping years of Lucien's abuse and being portrayed as severely touch phobic. I chose to move past it because other parts of the story were fascinating, and hey artistic licence and Omega-ness, but this thing with Lucien? Hours after her sobbing and punching and screaming at him for once again taking away all choice from her?

Screw artistic license. Bond or no bond, other Omega heroes and heroines would never.

This is a great ending for this duet. Once again the author manages to grab your attention from the get go and never let go. There is plenty of action, intrigue and steam. Great character development with a compelling storyline.

Okay so the first book was good, I liked that the story and setting was a bit different than other OV’s and I liked that she was a strong woman but still smart enough to endure to survive. I actually liked Lucian, and felt bad that he was forced to do shit and couldn’t really get out off it without being severely punished.

In this book we start with Lucian having bonded and taken Dani, he wants to kill his father and change the north.
I don’t like how fucking touchy-feely everything went.
Then boom heat, bonding all of them.
And soooo much fucking talking of nothing of consequence, like “oh my wildflower, you are the most dearest to me, I will make everything right for you and will crawl on my hands and knees if that is what you wish. You are perfect, and we will make everything right. Don’t cry, let me talk like this when I’m having my dick inside you”

Like excuse me, the whole heat scene I have never read such an unsexy scene in my life, I cringed so hard, and had to force myself to continue thinking it would get better. NO no it did not.

And going from not wanting touch due to abuse and hardship 2 weeks and she want Lucien and all the others to bond and fuck her and shit? WTAF.

What happened to this being on the darker side? With all the cuddly mushy overbearing livebombing.

Not to mention the description of the sex scenes was awful you got no sense of direction on how they where doing it, what positions and shit.

I’m now going to go and bleach my brain and get this shot out.

Knot All is Ruined Part 2 is the stunning conclusion to Danella "Dani" Holsted's story. I will admit I didn't think I would enjoy Dani's story as much because it was very realistically (or at least enough for me) focused on war. But it was an omegaverse and written by Liz so I had to read it. I admit it's a compulsion but I'm so glad I did.

Dani has been a fighter from the beginning, going against injustices, and speaking up no matter what. Sure Dani was scrappy but she didn't have the skills to really back it up until now. Dani has been training and she has become a badass, fighting right along aside her allies and making a difference.

Speaking of difference Dani has dropped her guard and opened up her heart to the five alphas and adorable beta. The guys surprised me with how quickly they came together with Lucian. Sure he had a lot to make up for but Dani wasn't the only one to let her guard down, Lucian did too and the man has the biggest heart underneath that mask he wears. Lucian is a good man and it's how things are able to work out with the guys. As for the others, of course, they were fantastic, Cris had some issues (non-Dani related) but he worked through them. Everyone was able to grow closer to Dani leading up to bonding. They make a fantastic family who obviously has each other's backs.

This story was complex, and l was amazed at how smoothly the story worked itself out. There were a lot of military and political aspects in play from at least three different groups all leading down to the conclusion that I will admit shocked me. Plus I love how Cambrie and her guys had roles in Dani's final book. This book was full of excitement, there was the war aspect, and things get hairy at times. Plus there was a rebellion, kidnappings, new allies, finally meeting the big bad, family togetherness, shock revelations, and more. What a great read.

Knot All is Ruined was a brilliant story centered in a war-torn country and one omega who's willing to fight for those who can't fight for themselves. In the middle of all the chaos bonds of love and friendship were formed. It really was a touching story.

Get the guys. End the war. See your mom and tell her all about it. All the boxes checked off and ready to be over. Military life is not for me if I get exhausted and winded just from reading about all the training and moving around and not sleeping enough and eating gruel. Ugh! I couldn't do it. I would literally rather die.

I definitely think She should have given Lucian more punishment than she did at the beginning there, but I guess with their bond, it was easy to see the genuine feelings there.

In the book, I kept feeling like they were running out of time and couldn't afford to stay here for a couple nights or find camp early or stop off at this base. But that was based on the lack of time frame given at all, other than the 1 week the guys told command they'd be gone for. So I kept counting down the week even after a couple of weeks had passed. Very strange timeline in this book. I didn't mind it.

I like Dani's sass and no nonsense attitude. Especially with the audacity, she had to ask personal questions from the rebels council. I wanted some update on that situation, but I can guess how it went, and I'm content with that too.

Having the frail old man in the wheelchair still spouting poison in his state was almost laughable, and I'm glad it was written that way. He didn't deserve some grand final battle on his feet with all the things he did for power he would never use responsibly. He honestly deserved to have a heart attack while raging over stupid things, and to die alone. Bastard having a fricken bomb made me very angry, though, so the author was on thin ice for a moment there.

I'm glad Oscad and Asturg are now finally getting it together. The last one is Sheeria, and I'm hoping there will be another storyline to fix whatever is going on there. I don't remember it being as bad as Asturg, but I know Oscad was sending omegas to both countries, so they have some issues that need to be resolved as well. Then the Omegas can get together and rule the world!!!

Idk why I picked this one up when I didn’t even really the first one but I did. Couldn’t bring myself to finish it. If Im going to DNF a book I make myself read at least 1/3 of it so I did. I don’t like these characters at all. I don’t like Dani, I don’t like Lucian and I barely like Sorin. “Save the world while building a new relationship” trope is hard to build in a regular book but in a RH omegaverse book-it just didn’t work at all. Flirting/sex mixed in with genocide/regime toppling falls flat. I connected with none of the main characters and didn’t care if they were successful or not. Another problem the author had was blending an omega with this type of warrior girl in the making and she did not accomplish it. One minute Dani’s tired (rightly so) and then the very next second she’s fighting with one of the alphas insisting they don’t leave her behind and she’s can do everything they can do-when she literally cannot. That alone sets my teeth on edge and I cannot stand it when I encounter it in books. It’s takes away from the character making them seem deliberately ignorant about themselves and reality. Two seconds after that argument she’s out loud day dreaming about a soft couch. The constant personality switches were not cute or spoke of well rounded characters. However the one redeeming quality of the book is well written spice. It dragged this from a 1 star to a 2 star.

I enjoyed the first book, for the most part. This one, though, was way different. She used to be such a big badass, taking no crap, and then once she has all of the guys around her, all that seems to disappear. Plus, all of a sudden she is a sniper? I get training her to shoot, but being a sniper is a whole other thing.

There were definitely editing issues here, too. Missing commas, extra commas that aren't needed (maybe they wandered? Wandering commas?).

I wanted to like Lucian so much. But things went an odd direction with him. He could have shown just a little more affection to her in book one, and things would have made more sense in book 2. Or, not being so overly affectionate in book 2. But his random 180-degree pivot was just weird to me.

Having this sudden confession about Cris' dad come up, then the next chapter, there he is (surprise!), felt clunky. The author did mention early on in book one that his dad didn't treat his mom right, but then big reveal right before he pops up doesn't work. It could have come up a little sooner to flow better.

There were also continuity issues here and there, plus I got bored in the latter half of this book. If I hadn't been near the end already, I don't know if I could have finished.

Overall, I didn't enjoy this story as much as I did the first one. I don't think I would read this duo again.

Military Alphas? Check
Growly protective? Check
Strong-willed opinionated independent Omega? Check
Military action and spicy action? Double check.

This wrapped up the duet of know all is ruined that also followed after Knot all is lost. Can be read as a duet but reading Knot all is lost first gives you a glimpse into characters and more of the world. I loved the setting of this book in the middle of a war and how it picked up right where the last left off. Danella has to form her pack with Alphas that are seeming to be on opposite sides of the war with her as their only agreement. They all love her and will do what they need to be with Danella and protect her. I would have loved more spice but the spice we did get was perfection. The three stars was I found the middle of the book having details that I feel like I didn’t need and wanted that time used for other aspects of the story. The plot was fabulous and the character growth was so genuine just found some parts detail heavy where other parts I found myself wanting to know more

This books picks up right where the first one left off. Dani is a fierce FMC. She doesn’t spend time lamenting about the problems she encounters along the way, but comes up with solutions that work. She knows what needs to be done and comes up with a plan. I like that Danelle isn’t too horribly upset with Lucian about the mark. She doesn’t complain and makes the best of it and their new relationship.

I love the found family we get in this book. We get to see all the men, including Lucien, grow and become comfortable with each other. They all have different types of relationships and they work well together.

All the planning to end the war is well done. There is enough politics and maneuvering for us to get an idea of what needs to be done but not enough that it gets too dry.

The book doesn’t feel rushed and the ending makes sense.

fantastic omega read - book 2 of this series

This book had me on the edge of my chair, it kicks off straight into action, I was completely mesmerised.
The relationship between Dani and Lucian has really developed since the bond snapped into existence.
The pull Dani has with between the Southern pack and Lucian - loved this and the relationship journey. Steamy scenes were smokin hot.
This book has a lot of political underlining aspects with the war still going on between the North and South. Dani and her men are in the middle of all this action, trying to develop allies, fighting, and plotting.
Dani as a character has really developed and blossomed, love her strength, determination and ability to love.
Such an amazing book, love books that pull you completely into the storyline, where the real world seems to complete fade into the background.

The continuation of Dani's story was absolutely amazing and worked out just as I hoped it would. With Lucian coming back into the picture at the end of the previous book I knew he would become a huge part of Dani's life again and hopefully for the better. As expected there were a lot of issues between the guys initially, but wow was it amazing to see how they slowly started getting on the same page. From Lucian allowing Dani to continue building her love and relationships with the other guys, to forming a true family/pack with each other, then to bonding well enough to truly end the war. I loved seeing both the north and south coming together for the common good all because of one omega. I do not think that if the guys all had that common ground with Dani that it would have worked out as well. Amazing duet!!

This epic, intense, and action-filled conclusion to Dani’s story was perfection! While I knew Elizabeth Knight would knock this book out of the park, she beyond exceeded all of my hopes for Dani and her pack. While their road has been anything but easy, the bond that has grown and flourished between them, the family they have built with hope and trust, is truly beautiful and had shown that they could withstand anything…together. Looking to build a better future not only for their own family, but for all of the people in their countries. A place where they could all be proud to live and love. I don’t want to spoil anything in the slightest, just trust me when I say you need to read this book, this story is just so fantastic!

Knot All Is Ruined Part Two by Elizabeth Knight is part of the Knot All Is Omegaverse series. This second book picks up right where book one left off. Dani has been kidnapped by Lucian and they are on the run. Sorin, Cris, Petru, Toma, and Victor are searching for them. Dani is one tough, smart FMC and can adapt to anything. There is so much political intrigue. The North and South are still at war. The North is dying. Dani and her pack want to change the world and make it a better place. After a lot of fighting, plotting, and making allies - it works out. HEA. Loved watching Dani and her guys grow and learn to work together. I loved getting to see Cambrie and her pack again. I hope they'll be more in this world.

Fan freaking tastic!

Once again, Elizabeth Knight creates a master peace that had me on the edge of my seat. Knot All is Ruined Part 2 picks right up where part one left off. I really enjoyed seeing the pack all settle in together. Dani is such a fierce character, and just seeing how much all of the guys love her put such a smile on my face. I loved how the book was so well balanced. War, pack, steamy scenes, so perfect!

I completely enjoyed this book, and highly recommend you all give it a read. Start from The beginning, Knot All is Lost, trust me it’s so good, and will make your reading of Knot All is Ruined Parts 1 and 2 even better.

Enjoy, I definitely did! Thanks for another fantastic read Elizabeth Knight, I can’t wait to see what’s next.

not as good as part 1

I felt like there was way too much inner dialogue going on. The plot really plateaued for me and dragged on. I didn’t really feel super invested to get through the last bit. I did finish the book but it took me a bit. I feel like it has the potential to be good but the relationships need some work. It went from feisty angry Omega to super Insta lovey and I’m not a fan of that when the character has faced quite a bit of trauma. I felt like the relationships needed some more time to develop and marinate. I know OV can be super Insta lovey but there is a time and place and this wasn’t it. I also felt like she completely lost her back bone in this book. I basically felt like I was reading a different FMC all together in comparison to book 1.

What an ending!

Danella has to be my one of my favorite omega characters ever! She's just so awesome and strong but full of love to give and a natural born leader. And best of all is that her pack loves her sassy, fiery personality. I think after the ending in part 1 readers will be shocked with the Lucian piece of the story line but in my personal opinion it just made the most sense. I'm loving how the omegas in this world are the sparks that not just inspire change for the better but neither one shied away from being in the thick of it. Danella was the best example of this though and I just really loved the story.

This is the fourth awesome book in the Knot All Is Omegaverse Series, and the second half of the Knot all is Ruined Duet. The story is a fabulous reverse harem, omegaverse read that I honestly could not get enough of.

I loved seeing Dani and her men’s relationship and personal growth and development throughout the book and thoroughly enjoyed their story, they definitely deserved their hard won HEA!

The writing, storyline, storytelling, characters, character and relationship development are all fantastic, and the world building is stunning.

I am absolutely loved this omegaverse duet and cannot wait for the next book in the series.

This is the second book and takes off right where book one ended. Dani is with lucian and they're on the run. I was so invested in this story from book one and was very happy with where this author takes this second book. It had everything! The growth of Dani and her pack was amazing to witness and the writing gave those scenes so much life in my head that I could easily picture everything clearly. The writing is phenomenal, the care and dedication that this author outs into the story is easily seen and I'm in awe at how beautifully everything comes together and the pace isn't rushed or parts skipped over. It was a wonderful read!

This duet starts off with Dani being kidnapped by Lucian and the two of them on the run. When Lucian bonds Dani, she realises that the two of them are forever and she can’t change that now but she will not hurt the guys and she will not let Lucian get hurt either. In addition to Dani trying to navigate new bonds and a new pack, there is also a lot of political moves going on with the North and South and the only option for peace is for Dani’s pack to kill the general. Dani is such a strong omega, I liked that she constantly adapted but she knew her strengths and weaknesses. I also loved seeing Cambrie and her pack back in this book too!

🌟 2.9

This omega is right.
She has no freedoms.
She has limited choices.
And then…he takes even one more away. Forces the bite on her. That’s r@pe. He bound her for life, and I am struggling to move past it. She gets angry for 2.5 seconds and then accepts it. How defeatist. I’m not even 20% through and she’s begging for a knot.

It’s a shame that very quickly into the book the groups meet together and become one unit. I started skimming through pages and pages of feelings. Every man from the south is freaking woke. Just an over abundance of emotions. I don’t mind them at all it’s just that I need angst. All of a sudden they’re together and now we have her heat and it’s just…not enough.

What a perfect way to end this duet!
Action, suspense, steam, you name it we got a little of everything in this book!
The twist and turns, what a wild ride. It kept me hooked and on the edge of my seat at times.
Dani grew so much in this book. She was tough, sassy and had a huge heart.
I loved seeing the relationships grow between Dani and her men. They created such a great family.
While the journey they all took was rough at times, it all turned out great in the end!
I cannot give this book enough praise and it deserves more than 5 stars.
Fantastic!

What a battle!! This group has really been through it and fought for their HEA and I loved every page of it! Dani is such a strong FMC and watching her guys push her to excel has been amazing. We have some freak out moments where I wasn’t sure we would get the happiest of endings, but the excitement gets all wrapped up in the most heartwarming ending I never expected! If you like omegaverse, action, or a group of guys coming together over their differences for the love of a girl - this is the book for you!

I loved this series. Not sure which one I like better Cambri’s story or Danella’s story. They are different stories but set in the same place and with interconnected characters. We start off with Lucian and Danella on the run. Danella knows her other guys are coming for her. Lucian wants to kill his father and end the war. Danella wants that too. Now to convince the rest of her men. Now that everyone is in agreement with the plan it’s time to add to their army. They are on a journey to find the rebels in the mountains. Read about their efforts to find the rebels and stop the war.

Elizabeth Knight has done it again with part 2. This book is the continuation from Knot all is ruined part 1 and part of the Knot All Omegaverse series. It continues from where Dani was kidnapped and on the run and her guys are on the search for her. Dani has had a hard life but she is one kick ass Character and gets her HEA in the end. I loved how her and the guy relationship grew and how they worked together for a better life for thier family. Such a great story just sad Danis story is over now

Holy Smokes, this book packed a punch!! Danella certainly has her hands full, between Lucian and the guys and everything going on around them, there's a lot happening! But, if anyone can handle all that, it's Danella. This book is action packed and full of strong events that propel our characters forward. I honestly never expected to love Lucian, but after a strong start to this book I really fell for him. The guys are all great, but mixing these two together is no easy task. This conclusion to Danella's story has everything you could want in it, including amazing crossovers.

I loved Knot All is Lost and seeing Cambrie's story, but when I heard that the second duology in the series would be following Danella and the omega's sold to the war-stricken country, I was sold.

Part 1 sets the tone and gives you an understanding of the characters and how the world is. Part 2 is where things get dirty. We see massive character and pack growth, tons of action (both the spicy kind and normal kind) and a perfect HEA.

Danella is such an incredible omega to read about. She is strong and intelligent. Not allowing her circumstances and situation to affect what she wants. I really loved Lucien's development and how he fits within the pack. I was definitely glad to see them all come together - even if it took a little bit and a few fights.

While I'll be sad that Danella and her pack's story is over, I'm excited to see what comes next.
Thank you to Elizabeth Knight for the advanced reader copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
