Although this is the sixth book in the Indie Rebels series, it is the first one I have read. It can definitely be read as a standalone. There was enough information given about the characters and the Indie Rebels that I did not feel lost at any time. That being said, I would definitely like to go back and read the first five. If they are anything like this one, I know I will enjoy them.
Sophie and Kerrod had instant chemistry but were hesitant to act on it. Kerrod has worked really hard to keep his past a secret and to keep it from creeping up on him. Sophie has her sights on a promotion at work. Neither can afford to get distracted. Or can they? It was good for us that they just couldn't help but throw hesitancy aside and get together. There was a little bit of danger and a pretty big twist. Those things, mixed with Sophie and Kerrod's chemistry, kept me turning the pages. I didn't want to put it down and finished it in just a little over a day. I would definitely recommend this one.

This was such a good book! I have read every one of the Indie Rebel books and I think this is my favorite. I can’t imagine what Kerrod went through when he was blackmailed to work for the Fixer’s crime syndicate. Once most of the fixers were put in jail, he was hoping he could get back to his life. I think it was love at first sight when he met Felicity. There was a small, or big, problem as she was a police detective. Not only was she a detective, but she was put as the head of the task force looking for the best hacker of the underworld - Kerrod. Even though Kerrod was not one of the Indy Rebels, he helped them out a lot, and they always had his back. It really helped that his twin brother was one of the Indie Rebels. It gets so exciting with so many twists and turns. There was one twist that really shocked me. This is such a good book that I strongly encourage you to read it. I was given a copy and voluntarily wrote a review.

This was such a gripping read that I managed to finish it in one sitting. The twists and turns kept me hooked and the intense chemistry kept the temperature at a constant high. This was one of the best IR reads and definitely worth the wait.

After several years of being careful with the jobs he accepts and not interacting with those he works with to avoid notice, Kerrod bumps into Sophie and is instantly smitten. Little does he know that she is a police detective, nor that she has just joined a task force whose purpose is to unmask and capture the Jester, an underworld hacker. Unfortunately Kerrod is, or rather was Jester, until Indie Rebels rescued him four years ago from the clutches of a criminal gang. I always felt so sorry for the bind that Kerrod found himself in and so was delighted to find that at last Kerrod gets a HEA (plus at the end of the story a fantastic new job).

A chance meeting between Kerrod and Sophie seems like it could be the start of something. She played along when Kerrod needed an excuse for his old co-workers. Plus, they have common acquaintances. Oh yeah, there is also the sizzling attraction between them. Should be perfect right? Only thing is he thinks she's a massage therapist when in fact she's a detective. And he's trying to avoid anything that will attract the attention of law enforcement.
The story had plenty of suspense, humor, mystery, and danger. Throughout the story you couldn't help but root for Kerrod to be able to get out from the consequences if his identity as the Jester were to come out. The chemistry between these two was off the charts. And it's always great to see the Indie Rebels in action.

A fabulous addition to the Indie Rebels series. Kerrod had gotten mixed up with the Fixers which the Indie Rebels helped him break away from. Ever since, he’s careful who he works for with his high-tech skills. Sophie is on the hunt for the Jester as a detective. Neither is looking for a relationship since their work is all-consuming but they find an intense connection that neither can ignore. Of course, how does Kerrod keep his secret while he falls in love with Sophie. What will Sophie do when she finds out his secret identity? There are several twists along the way that test their feelings and they work that they do. Will they find the love that they both deserve? I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

YAY - I just love Miranda's books and was so happy to be getting another story! This is the final book in the Indie Rebel series and it just might be my favorite. When Sophie and Kerrod meet and start having feelings, both have secrets. Sophie is a detective who is on the task force to locate and capture the best underground hacker. Kerrod is that hacker. I don't want to give too much away with my review but this story is so suspenseful, full of twists, turns, some laughs and chemistry!!! This book had me turning the pages dying for more. A great read!!!

The sixth book in the Indie Rebels series. Hacker Kerrod Keegan and Detective Sophie Heywood's story is well written with a very good storyline that flowed smoothly across the pages. I was not putting the book down until I was finished, there is suspense, twists, turns, villains and romance. The story was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I've read the previous 5 Indie Rebels books and was hoping Kerrod would have his own story. And what a story. Filled with smart and charming characters, this book trailed behind Detective Sophie as she is hunting the infamous Jester. Lots of twists and turns fill a dangerously fast route to an HEA!.

Red hot and extremely entertaining i couldn’t put it down!!! The chemistry between the main characters will make you swoon, the well written storyline with its twists will keep you hooked… As always Miranda P. Charles delivers!!! I never wanted it to end! Perfect for a rainy day or a weekend read, Sophie and Kerrod’s will definitely leave you with butterflies!!!

Kerrod is like walking through a maze and never knowing where to turn. Nobody does complicated like Miranda P. Charles. The Redemption is a second chance story that teeters on the edge. From emotional to unpredictable, Kerrod and Sophie are romance at it's most intriguing.

Great read
New author to me.
Loved this book and whole series. Great storylines, great backstories for the characters, feisty and smart females, alpha males not afraid to love. Great suspense romance. Definitely reading this author again.

Kerrod is fighting for his life, trying his hardest to keep it away from present life. Now, things like the heart are trying to get in the way, and he is unsure if he can separate.
