Two years after the deaths of her father and older brother, Julie finds herself completely overwhelmed as she tries to assemble into new changes in her life. Her mother remarrying, her rocky relationship with her boyfriend, and graduating high school. As everything starts to happen seemingly all at once, she starts to feel her brother's absence more than ever.
What starts out as a small exercise to feel closer to her brother turns into a full diary, a coping mechanism she turns to whenever things start to get too hard. Especially as she finds herself running into an old friend on her first day of college, someone she hadn't anticipated ever seeing again.
