True Crime Killers Volume 1: 18 real-life stories of serial killers and murderers

Rate this book
True Crime Killers Volume 1 contains eighteen real-life true crime stories about serial killers and murderers.
We traverse through the history of the known world from the UK to the USA and find a porn-obsessed sexual deviant, killer in the Navy, serial-killing truck driver, the true story of a haunted house, a killer who only killed on Saturday nights, and a whole raft of twisted tales.

Killers hide among us and they’re not always in the shadows. That neighbour down the street you’ve never spoken to might be harbouring a terrifying secret, a body under the patio, a victim in the basement. The person behind you in the supermarket queue or sat next to you on the train could have already claimed a life and are seeking out the next notch on their belt.

Serial killers, mass murderers, killers of children, monsters in the darkness, they all exist alongside us. They move among us in secret hoping not to be caught, wary of the cameras and passing police. They lay in wait for the next victim, stalk us and herd us into their world, imagining how they might end our lives. When our veil of safety gives way to comfort and we let our guard down, that’s when they strike.

Humans killing humans is not a modern evil, we have been killing each other since the dawn of humanity. Even the bible proves we are split between the dark and the light. And yet it is the darkness that tempts those to push a knife into flesh, shoot a bullet to the head or choke the life out of one they once loved.

Bravo

This book came to me in a round about way. Being a diehard fan of Robert Keller, Jason Neal, and Daniela Airlie, I discovered author Jamie Malton. After reading at least 16 of her books I ran out of new titles. So I clicked on this. While a few of the cases I just read about in Malton's books, this author writes with spunk and introduced me to many unknown cases as he is clearly British. Also, even the Amityville and JonBenet chapters were well done. Yay! On to his next.

Amazing

These were really great, stories. Some that I've heard before, but mothers were new to me. It shows the depths of depravity and decreased mental health
