I read this book to my daughter after a tough week of trombone practice. She kept saying she couldn't practice, she couldn't do it, but after we read "I Can Do It!" together, she came home ready to practice trombone. This book was an excellent way to gently nudge my daughter into trying harder and to open up a conversation between us about encouragement (there are questions throughout the book to engage your child). Highly recommended. We can do it! Thanks Pat Thomas.
